Valentine’s Ski Lodge Plans
Hello! Since we were openly discussing this on Cho’s thread, I feel like there wouldn’t be much point in being super secret about it. So, what do you think? How should we go about this? Should we use aliases anyway? Do you want to make a list of things to plan or keep in mind? How did you do your last ski lodge? Have you made more than one?
This is going to sound obvious, but we need to know who the murderer is from the very first day. Alizarine and I didn’t, and that was problematic. I was thinking we could plan some of it out ahead of time, though, like before anyone even signs up; clues, stages, false leads, activities, moods, maybe a few major deaths or murder methods.
So... yeah!

Hmm... Yes. What about we kinda frame the person with the darkest personality... But it turns out to be the cheeriest person?

Ooh, yes, a beware the cute ones! What about setting? Should we do some kind of resort? Maybe a literal ski lodge? I’ve never been to one, so maybe not, but... oh, I had a dream recently where a skylift thingy took me and a group of others to a place on a big wooden platform in these enormous snow-covered pines, and then we were given rooms and taken on a number of highly dangerous field trips. What about something like that?

Hrrrrm. What about a sky hotel? Or a space hotel... That they reach via the first ever Space Elevator!

Ooh, a sky hotel sounds good... space isn’t so much my thing, but we can do it if you really want to.

Sky's fine!

You've learned. Well done.

Wut?

Top.

Okay, so a sky hotel and a cheery, adorable murderer. Maybe the one who’s making everyone feel better...
How many days should we do, and how often should we post?

I can only post saturdays-sundays, so maybe i could do the... Four sundays after Valentine's, and you could do the four Saturdays? or maybe we could each do more than that? Thoughts?

Hmm... I like updating often, but the most important thing is to finish. Maybe we could go Sundays and Wednesdays, to space things a little more evenly, but Saturdays and Sundays has its perks, too. We could try to update with a baseline and randomly go over? Or that could be too much pressure. We could also do a thing where you post twice during the weekend and I post twice in the week. I do like your plan, though.

Not sure if I was supposed to see this, but just popping in-- I suppose I'd be willing to help. I've been thinking of writing a Ski Lodge for a while, and Viola?, I really liked the Ryokan Suruzan (I think I misspelled that oops) that you did with Alizarine.
If I'm not supposed to be here, you can forget I ever trespassed on your lovely little planning thread and I can facepalm myself several million times (although in terms of ideas I think it would be cool if you payed homage to other finshed, sigificant, or ongoing Ski Lodges, such as Lake Lelillo, especially because that particular lodge has outlived many of its participants.)

Thanks! I’m not sure if you’re supposed to be here, either, but I’d be fine with more help—we could go even faster with this. Maybe introduce some kind of thematic divisions as a plot device, to make it easier on the story with the many authors...
I don’t normally read ski lodges unless I’m in them, but that sounds cool.

Hey, did one of you post the Amor Lodge thread? Because I didn’t.
(February 8, 2019 - 4:14 pm)
Nope.
