Hey! So what I found is, near The Confederates' post on the LTE, there are 3 other posts that were made a few days after.
Number One is by "E" and says "Lash"
Number Two is by "F" and says "HoP8"
Number Three is by "G" and says "Posh"
As too what these mean...I have no idea.

Oh! Curious.
They were either disguised to look like they were posted back in 2016 (they fit the conversation going on back then), or they are... A glitch in the dates. Because they weren't inserted randomly between letters, they fit the actual flow of the alphabet-themed posters, except for an extra 'G' that could have been caused by someone posting before the previous person's went through.
@Admins, is a glitch in the dates like that plausible?
@Neko, I'll go find an old thread and post halfway through to see if it affects the dates near it.
And Onyx says otkw, which is funny, considering...
We've had glitches in dates since the beginning of Chatterbox. Some threads were dated in the 1960s, way before the invention of the Internet. Chatterbox didn't launch until 2008.

Yay! So...
Here's the trail so far.
The first clue was on the main thread, and it accidentally led to the wrong page. Later on the page The Confederates corrected it, and it ended up leading to page 22 of the Longest Thread Ever.
The second clue--on the LTE--led to Pudding's Place ('cause it's one up from the bottom of the Places to Chat list...) on node 212426, AKA the Art Posting thread. It told us to go to page 19, and on page nineteen was Lap R.'s Photobomber picture.
The next clue was posted on the main thread. It said to go back where we started...
And then a hint was posted--a pic of a magifying glass. The Confederates said that the dates were highlighted on the magnifying glass to help identify the next clues.
Neko and Coyotedomino have narrowed the search down to some posts that have shown up right underneath the very first hidden clue--on page 22 of the Longest Thread Ever. They say
Lash
HoP8
Posh
And that's where the investigation has stopped...
I checked the original thread by the Confederates and the last thing they posted there was a blank post reading:
"Need a hinh? Jush ask!" in the location.
Maybe that's a hint in itself?
