I am pretty self-conscious about my art. Around my friends, I consider myself talented, but in a magazine where everyone is talented...

Yeah, I get what you're saying, but please--

If your friends consider you a talented artist, I say go for it! what's the worse that could happen?

I've entered in like eight Cricket constests before for and got rejected like five times and then got an honorable mention the other time, and then a first, and then a third!! It made me so happy. I swear, it's totally worth it.

No, but I did enter the myth contest in September. Waiting anxiously for January's issue now! Wish me luck.. :D

 

Temuri says coix. You wanna bet? Sure. I bet a quarter I didn't place. What, really? We'll see.... 

 

I should be posting the myth story winners and honorable mentions on this site cricketmagkids.com/contests next week, hopefully by December 29.

I just got my first magazine of this year (I got them last year), so it was too late to enter. I really wanted to. :( Good luck!


The current contest theme and rules should be posted by the first of the year at

cricketmagkids.com/contests

so even if your issue is late, you can enter.
