Yay! The first time Rose bud has ever been in Cricket Mag! It was about the Magical Letters... does anybody remeber that? It was pretty fun. 

 

I loved last month's issue too! Total theatre person here.

 

Who is planning to enter the night poem contest? I already have a possible submission titled "Night Words." It's about sunset and transition from day to night. Not really sure if it exactly an "October Night" poem.

I saw the Magical Letters! I remember that. Harry Potter got back to me.

I think I might try the poetry contest. I'm a terrible poet, but it's always worth sending something in just in case. I'm going to go with a very vague "ghost girl rising" type thing.

I entered! I wrote one called 'Trick or EEEK!'. It's about this group of friends who come over, and get in these really cool, elaborate costumes, then they step outside, freak out at all the decorations, and go back in and watch movies until midnight. I hope it gets published! I entered the acting one as well.

Goodness gracious, I was published again! Yay! I've spent a year (yes, early wintertime 2014 is when I started posting) on the CB, without getting published in the mag, and suddenly I am two issues in a row! Thanks, Admins :)

I entered! I don't remember if I titled it or not though. I really want to know how I did, but I doubt that I did very well. It was my first contest. I don't even know if it got to Cricket in time, but I'm keeping my hopes up!

 

We got many beautiful October night poems! The winners won't be announced for a while. We'll post them at cricketmag.com/contests before February.

This won't stop me! I'm going to keep sending in writing entries until I'm published! I'll annoy them into publishing me, if I must!
