About the photo contest for this month: Do we have to take the pictures ourselves? I have a really great idea which would include someone taking the picture for me, and I am wondering if that is allowed. Thanks!

Yes. The photographer is the contest entrant. So whoever took your picture idea would be the person contending for a prize.
