Dear Cricket Editors, 

I would like to suggest that you give yourself
a hearty pat on the back. You have created an amazing magazine which has
inspired me to keep on writing, drawing, and creating even when I have writer’s
block, or just can’t get something quite right.

Pussywillow, even if Ladybug is a drag, she’s still nice.
Even so, you are so much better! I always wanted a cat and to be able to hang
out with one that talks is so much better.

 Ugly Bird, miss spelling things is actually real cool.
Seriously. Like, in some books set in olden times, they spelled ‘ fire ‘ fyre .
And boring names with Ys at the end are SO much cooler. Like Lucy . Lucy to
Luci . Kelly to Keli. I suggest you change your name to Ugli Burd .

Muffin, you’re a
bookbug too ! I read a LOT ! What’s your favorite book ? I love so many books
it’s hard to name one, but one book I love is Writing Magic : Creating Stories That Fly by Gail Carson Levine .
