Dear every buggie,

Chatterbox: In This Month's Issue

Dear every buggie,

Dear every buggie,

I just started reading Cricket, and I LOOOOVE it!!!!!!! (Was that too loud?) Everything you put in the magazine is enjoyable, fun, and great. I can tell you put your whole hearts into each and every issue. Just one question I have to ask: why do you call your magizine Cricket when there are so many different characters in the magazine? I am not suggesting that you should have named it after any other buggie. Oh, one more question; will you have any new buggies moving into Cricket Country? I know many others would like to know. Please tell us the answer soon!

Before I end this letter, I have a suggestion. You should have an issue where the characters from Muse come to visit. They would have a nice time! Maybe each article could cover a topic that both a muse and buggie like. Please take my ideas into consideration.

Your neerdy, curious friend,

Isabella "Bella" Z.

P.S. Are dogs a threat? I have a dog who loves eating bugs that fly into our house.Smile

Welcome to Cricket, Bella. The name Cricket was inspired by this passage from A Day of Pleasure by Isaac Bashevis Singer: "There was a tile stove in Shosha's apratment behind which there lived a cricket. It chirped the nights through all winter long. I imagined that the cricket was telling a story that would never end."

We never know from month to month what characters might appear, but I'll be sure to pass your suggestions on to the editors.

Love,

Cricket
