Nutcracker?

Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Nutcracker?

Nutcracker?

I was just wondering if anybuggy else had just finished a production of The Nutcracker. My studio just wrapped up our performances and it was sooo much fun :D If so what part? I was a lady in waiting this year, but our costumes looked like we should be toffee and chocolate or something ;P

Yes . . . me! My part was playing first violin in the pit and getting to see almost none of the dancing, except when I'd dare to take a peek while counting measures of rests. Hard work and exhausting, but fun. Tschaikovsky writes so many notes, especially for violins! I was tired the whole next day but fully recovered now.

My studio's Nutcracker is today and tomorrow. I am the doll in the party scene, and a flower. I am so excited!!!

That's so cool Hannah! The dolls are like my favorite part, I'm jealous :D

And Admin that's sooo much fun! I love all the music  of the Nutcracker: it's so inspiring :)

LOL that's neat. I just finshed my 8 shows. I was a flower and angelic lights in the ballet :) I also played the music in a dif show.

Nutcracker.  I know all about Nutcracker.  I just finished my sixth production of the Colorado Ballet Theatre Nutcracker.  I was a soldier and a maid.  I, of course, was the maid who had her nose in a book the entire time. xD  It was awesome. :D

I was in The Nutcracker about a year ago, although it wasn't the ballet, it was a play, Alice in Wonderland-esque.  I played The Nutcracker, which then made me really proud of myself.
xD  It was extremely fun, except we didn't get to act out the battle scene because the first performance was sneaking up on us and we didn't have enough time to choreograph it.  I pretended that we did the battle scene, in my mind.  It was quite fun.  (:  One of the performances, I remember stumbling on a line and saying, "sorry" loudly.  Before that, I hadn't been nervous at all, but then I became nervous.  Now, I can think of a way to cover it up, but then I was absolutely dumbstruck.  xD  It's funny now, and after that I plan to make a cover-up line for every line I have, in case I mess up.  :)
