ANOTHER NEW RP
Chatterbox: Pudding's Place
ANOTHER NEW RP
ANOTHER NEW RP ON PP!!!!! ;D
Ok, so, don't go all Twilight on me, *gags* but, we're going to be vampires. Because vampires are totally awesome.
Rules & Regulations:
(Sorry!) :)
1. No sparkling vamps. Ever. Sorry, Twilight fans, but vampires are not supposed to sparkle.
2. I probably don't need to say this, since the ever so awesome Admins don't post really gory things anyway, (GO ADMINS!!) ;) and no one on Chatterbox is incredibly violent (to my knowledge) but no detailed blood and gore scenes (eww.)
Yeah, I know that's a really short list of rules, :) but that's all I can think of at the moment.
Your charrie can be any age, human, vampire, or dhampir. and if dhampir or vamp can take blood any way you think fits your charrie's personality. (So long as rule 2 is taken into account while writing about it.) ;)
And F.Y.I: for anyone who doesn't know, dhampir is a term from the Vampirates books (by Justin Somper) and it refers to someone with one vampire parent and one human parent. Dhampirs are my personal favorite of the three; they have vampiric abilities, (superhuman sight/hearing/strength) but aren't harmed by the sun and don't have to take blood if they don't want to.
I will post my charrie tomorrow.

I am going to repost the last piece of writing to see if it will spark interest...
//Kuitisha//
My head starts to race as I watch
the two vampires talk. Fear rushes through me. I just hope this won't
end in a fight. My grip tightens on the branch that I'm perched on and I
look down at my dangling feet. And, there is nothing there. Great.
I've turned invisible. Again. It happens every time I get scared, and
it just so happens that I'. Why can't I just be like a normal person?
No, I shouldn't be worrying about that now. At least it helps, now
Aaron and Elizabeth won't see me, I'm pretty sure seeing the invisible
is not a vampiric power. I've always watched people, hoping to find out
things that will help me survive. I know it's wrong, but what else am I
to do? But the spying comes with a price, one that only the desperate would pay. I do
not even have the guidance of the past. All I know is that I exist,
and that I am living around those of the vampiric nature. The dark
memories stop flooding into my mind suddenly. I snap my head around to
see that Aaron is staring straight at me. I raise my hand in front of
my face slowly. I'm not invisible anymore.

Grr, my post always get broken up like that....
(February 5, 2012 - 11:58 am)
Jane-
I moved as slowly as possible taking in the scenery. Normal people talking and laughing. Wow, their lives seemed so much better than mine. I stared at one couple buying flowers. I snorted. "Nothing's that easy." I got a sudden chill and pulled my black leather jacket in closer to me. The source of the chill walked up to me. Melony Ford. She became a vampire four months ago, and in my opinion likes it too much. "Hey Williums, hungry yet?" she asked, glancing at the couple. "Leave me alone, Ford." "Oh, not so friendly. Doesn't matter. I'm gonna go have a snack. See you later." I watched with helpless desperation as she walked toward the couple and started talking to them about the flowers and led them away in the direction of an abandoned ally. I walked away head down.
I'm like totally out of creative juice right now so I'm just gonna wait til someone else posts to put up anymore.

(February 6, 2012 - 11:16 am)
My writing has been unclear lately so to avoid confusion: the girl in the meadow was Elizabeth and Jane or Blue Moon pushed Elizabeth off me. Okay?
Avilla-
I woke up in the middle of a forest somewhere up north with no idea where, who or what I was. I decided to go south, feeling that that might help me remember.
My past is vague as if someone took all my memories up to the point where I woke up and threw them away. I do remember three things: my name, Avilla, an awful, blood-curdling scream and a figure in the darkness. I am trying to recall more but it’s almost impossible.
The woods stop somewhere near the edge of a town and I am forced onto the street. I am lucky that the streets are empty for I look like a mess. My hair is uncombed and I am covered in dried mud and dust.
The houses stop where a little creek begins. In the distance I can see the shapes of trees and start to walk through the yellowish grass to them.
The trees make a ring around an open patch of grass where a girl and a boy are sitting, watching something intently across from them.
I follow their gaze and find a girl perched in a tree, looking utterly scared. I wonder why she should be scared of normal teenagers when I smell them. They reek of blood – human blood.
I take a step closer and the girl in the clearing snaps her head around to face me. Then she slowly stands, motioning to the boy that he should stay put.
I begin to back off, feeling the danger coming towards me. What would she do if I stayed?
“Don’t move!” she yells as if she read my mind.
I breath in sharply, taking a step back.
“I said don’t move!”
My eyes are wide with fear and my heart is beating twenty million times a second.
I take another step back.
“Stay right where you are!” The girl shouts but I run.
I move with amazing speed back towards the town. She can’t catch me. I am faster than any human I’ve ever seen. Yet she didn’t seem human.
I suddenly am knocked to the ground. I am flailing and trying to punch the person on top of me when an invisible force hits my attacker and she rolls off my back.
(February 6, 2012 - 11:52 am)
K, and I think it's possible to be a werewolf. Oh she so should be! So Elizabeth hates her but Jane doesn't because she's only part vampire
Jane-
I slammed into Elizabeth, pushing her off the girl. We fought with super human speed. The girl who looked like she slept on the street stared. "STOP!" Elizabeth shouted. I backed up, fists ready. "You know we don't attack humans unless we need to!" I shout-whispered. "She is NOT human!" Elizabeth shouted. I glared but snapped my head back to the girl. She looked normal except for the fact that she looked worse than Jefferson when he'd died. Speaking of Jefferson, my necklace had fallen out and the girl was eyeing it. I put it back in my shirt. "Who are you?" I asked the girl. "Avilla." It sounded farmiliar. I stared curiously. "What are you?" I asked. She shrugged. "How should I know?" Elizabeth stared daggers at the girl who looked scared. "Listen Jane, she ran faster than a human. She's something else. I glanced back at Avilla, "What are you?" "Jane, Aaron's waiting, let's go." My head spun but I left with Elizabeth anyway, Avilla followed.

OMG I forgot about this RP and now I feel really bad. :(
Other than humans, dhampirs, and vampires... werewolves are fine, as are other were-creatures. In fact, since i'm having trouble thinking of something to write for ebony the vampire, i'm going to change my charrie.
Name: (still) Ebony Kieran
Age: 17
Appearance: wavy auburn/red hair that reaches just past her shoulders; hazel/gold eyes; light brown skin.
Species: were-falcon
Other: lives alone because her family got into a big fight against an evil-ish vampire family a couple years ago and she was the only survivor of a huge attack on the were-falcons' home. Has a gold anklet with one charm on it that she never takes off. (The charm is a tiny falcon in flight.)
(February 6, 2012 - 6:37 pm)
Yay, yay! I'm going to be a werewolf but I don't know it yet. And here is my werewolf appearance.
Appearance: medium sized, huge paws, long black fur, teddy bear eyes
(February 7, 2012 - 8:39 am)
My charrie doesn't know she's a were-wolf, by the way.
Avilla-
I follow both girls. The one on the right, Jane, who pushed the girl off me, seems okay. Why would she save my life if she weren’t nice? The other dark brown haired girl whose name I don’t know seems distrustful of me but I’m used to that. I doubt that anyone looking as I do is the number one most trustful person.
I recall the question that Jane had asked before. What are you? What had she meant? I have always known that I’m…different, but the question awoke my curiosity.
Am I not human? Am I...something else?
The boy, Aaron, is still sitting in the grass. He is handsome with light hair, pale skin and unbelievably strong arms.
He stands as we come nearer. “What is that? She smells!”
I can feel my cheeks turn red when he says this.
“Jane insisted on sparing her,” says the brown haired girl.
Aaron turns to Jane. “Whenever you’re around things go wrong. Why can’t you just leave us be for once?”
“Elizabeth wanted to kill her,” Jane protests.
The boy snorts. “So?”
She says nothing and looks at her feet.
“Tell me, why are you here? This is my land.” Aaron turns to me, flexing his arm muscles and cracking his neck.
“Your land? This land is Mother Nature’s land. And I – I was looking for a place to sleep.”
“Ha! Mother nature’s land. You really don’t know anything girl, do you? Oh, and your place to sleep, you’ll have to find that somewhere else,” he laughs.
“C’mon, Aaron, leave her alone. There’re more important things to take care of like-“ Jane interrupts him, worriedly looking from him to me and back again.
“I don’t care! Take her away from here but don’t let her go… Let her stay at your place.”
“But-“
“We’ll talk about your special ‘news’ tomorrow. Scram!”
Jane backs off and motions for me to follow.

A shadow darts through the field next to us. With superhuman speed, Elizabeth races after the figure. When she is out of sight, I focus my attention on Aaron. He starts advancing on me, never taking his pale blue eyes off my face. Suddenly, I know what he is thinking. At the thought, my mind fills with rage. Slowly, I feel myself starting to fade out of sight. The vampire narrows his eyes, trying to track my movements, but I know that in a few seconds he'll lose track of me. With a moments hesitation, he lunges at where I was standing, fangs bared. But he's too late, I am already on the other side of the tree. Aaron stops, staying unnaturally still, and I start to creep away. A scream sounds in the distance, followed by a thump and yelling. I know that it came from the same direction that Elizabeth ran off. I desperately want to go help, but it seems I have problems concerning my own survival. Focusing my attention again, I find that my attacker has already leapt at me and is almost at my neck. In a split second I realize that my mistake was moving. I had forgotten about the incredible hearing that vampires possess. I move to the left, and as he flies past me, I elbow him in the side. This continues on for what seemed like forever, and I could feel myself getting tired. Aaron smirked, knowing that he could outlast me. Suddenly, I catch a glimpse of two girls coming over the horizon, and I know one of them is Elizabeth. When they catch sight of me, they stop for a moment, then run toward us. As they come closer, I can see that the girl next to Elizabeth is tall, with a pale form and wavy black hair. I’m not sure whether to be relieved or terrified.

Jane-
We ran with super human speed toward my 'house'. It takes about 30 seconds for us to reach it. When I finally stop I turn to Avilla. "This is where I sleep." It was a shabby little shack with blacked out windows and a FORCLOSURE sign in the yard. I expect her to look at it disgustedly but she only looks relieved and happy. She walks strait in and sits down on the couch. "So, I was wondering, what are you?" She asked. I walked to the fridge and pulled out a raw stake and started chewing. "Dhampir." She nodded. "What's a dhampir?" I almost lunged. I hated being a dhampir. "Person who's got one vampire parent, one normal parent. I've got all the perks and I can go out in the sun and I don't have to drink blood." She smiled. "Cool." I think she was just relieved I wasn't ganna suck her blood. "So the others, they're, vampires?" She asked. "Yup." "So all that stuff really exists? Vampire's are real? What about werewovles? Are they real?" My face got dark. "Yeah, werewovles are real. I know. A werewolf killed my dad. He was a vampire." She nodded taking it all in. Surprisingly she wasn't running out the door screaming. I finished the steak. "So that's what he ment." I looked at her confused. "When Aaron said that things always go wrong when you're around. He doesn't like you because you're only part vampire, right?" I blush and look at my feet. "Yes." "What's his deal? Why was he so mad about me being on 'his land'." She put air quotes around the words. "He's a vampire. Vampire's are very teritorial." I relied throwing away the steak wrapper. She sat there for a couple seconds just staring at the counter. "You want something to eat?" I asked. "Um, yeah sure." She walked over and I opened the fridge. All that was in there was raw meat, and water bottles. "Just don't tell me you're vegetarian." She laughed. "Got anything else?" I opened the cabinet which held an array of chips and bags of popcorn. She grabbed a small bag of Doritos. "So, weird question, how old are you?" I laughed. "I am 212 years old." She stared. "Seriously?" "Yup, most vampires are really old. Unless they're new vampires." "Wait, is Dracula real?" I burst out laughing. "Yeah, but he was born in like 1512 and died in like 1805. He's doesn't exist anymore." "You knew him?" I laughed again. "Where do you come up with these questions! Yes! I knew Dracula, he came to my house once. But I didn't really know him." I laughed again. She blushed in embarasment. "Oh." I grabbed a bottle of water and sat in a chair across from her. "So, where did you come from? I mean, I know all the vampires, dhampirs, werewolves, whatever in this area and I've never seen you before. Where did you come from?" She thought hard. "Um, I, came from, up North." "Very detailed thank you. But if you don't wanna share that's cool. Not too many people are very proud of where they came from." I said the last part quietly. I was one of those people. I stared at my feet. She changed the subject. "So if you were born in 1800 you must have seen a lot." I laughed. "Tell me about it! Actually the frist thing that ever happened to me was I was almost killed by small-pox. Talk about trajety. I was one of the first to get tha vaccine though. My dhampir powers didn't kick in 'til I was about 12." The rest of the conversation was like that. Thing's I'd been through that no human being had actually witnessed.

I've decided to do a more detailed profile for Jane.
Name: Jane Williums
Born/Age: 1800/212
Species: Dhampir
Description: tall, waist length silky black hair, sharp blue eyes, pale
Gender: girl
Parents: Annie Williums (mom-human), George Williums (dad-vampire)
Siblings: Anne Williums (sister-human) (deceased)
Personality: light hearted, nice, jokes a lot, fallows orders but sometimes does her own thing, brave, fierce, proud, self-less, odd qualities for a vampire's child
History: When she was born she had a fierce case of smallpox. Thanks to her father's connections as a vampire he was able to get her a vaccine before she died. Her dad was respected but him and Jane's mom left her with Jefferson Lyon most of the time. When she was 10 Jefferson Lyon told her family that Jane was a dhampir but her powers hadn't kicked in yet. Her mother was so disgusted that she'd taken after her dad and had vampire abilities that she beat Jane and wouldn't even look at her otherwise. Jane didn't hate her though. When she was 13 a werewolf ripped her older sister Anne in half killing her. Her father was so enraged he went after the werewolf only to be killed himself. Her mother was so devistated she went into complete silence. Not speaking or responding to anyone. She ate and drank little, and died 2 months later of a small pox infection. She would not allow Jane to get her the vaccine.
Other: Jane is not respected by most vampires because she is a dhampir.

I forgot to add my charrie is really good at hand to hand combat. oh, and if it's ok with everybuggy, here's another thing. Were-creatures have this thing where they can tell what species everyone around them is. So my charrie knows what everyone is right away. :)
plus Ebony hates vamps and dhampirs, and thinks they're a danger to were-kind. she also doesn't know the other charries yet, so... :|
tell me if i'm getting annoying with all this. :)
Ebony--
I circle over the meadow, watching the scene unfold before me; the vampires, the dhampir, the invisible girl, and the werewolf. I feel happiness course through me as I watch the dhampir save the werewolf girl from death by vampire fang. Then the joy is replaced by dread as I watch the dhampir lead the werewolf into a small house fairly nearby. If birds could curse....
I land silently on the roof of the house, then change to human shape, lowering myself crabwalk-style to the edge. I half-morph myself (human girl + feathers + wings instead of arms + bird eyes = my half-morphed state) and fly down off the roof. I peek in the window, and see the dhampir and the were-girl talking. Just talking! I blink in amazement, but don't make a sound, creeping toward the door. I change back to normal human shape, and knock on the door, trying to think of something non-stupid to say when it opens. (I could fight my way out of Alcatraz, but I can't give speeches for the world)
The dhampir opens the door, the were-wolf stands behind her.
"Yes?" The dhampir asks. She looks annoyed. I open my mouth and say,
"Uhh..."
The dhampir waits a moment, then when I say nothing else, she starts to close the door.
"No!" I jam my foot in the doorway do the door can't close. "Please, I need to speak with you!" I yell to the werewolf. She does nothing. I try another tactic. "I know what both of you are!" I yell. The dhampir immediately stops trying to squash my now aching foot. "I know what you are!" I say again, this time more to the werewolf girl than the dhampir. "I'm one too. Kind of. I can show you if you don't believe me."
She snorts/laughs. "Ok, but it wouldn't do any good. I have no idea what I am, so how could you?"
"Because it's a power our species has! We can tell when other were-animals are around!" I say. "Watch." With a quick glance around to make sure no one's there, I morph into falcon form. The were-wolf's face looks utterly amazed.
"So you're a...?" She says. I transfrom back.
"Were-falcon." I finish her sentence for her. "And you are a werewolf."
~~~~~
@Avilla: if you didn't want your charrie to find out what she is yet then we can get rid of this post.
(February 9, 2012 - 6:31 pm)
//Kuitisha
I watch everyone talk, and I marvel at what an odd group we make. The were-falcon came in, and everyone is laughing and chattering busily. But they've either forgotten that I'm in the damp room, or they don't know. I'm guessing the latter. I would have spoken up, but I'm just so shy, mainly because of the fact that I've always been a loner, with no reason to communicate. As I start to calm down, my body starts to fade back into sight. Jane makes a short noise of surprise, and everyone turns to stare at me, eyes wide with surprise. I was right. They didn't know that I followed. My cheeks start to turn red, and I raise my hand in greeting. "Hi", my voice is timid, and an awkward silence follows. Avilla is the first to break the silence. "So... What species are you?" Everyone laughs. "I'm a human." She cocks her head to the side. "Then what's the whole dissapearing stunt about?" I smile. "Honestly, I wish I knew a lot of things like that about myself, but I don't remember much about my past." We both hesitated, and she whispered, "Then you're not alone."
