They released a teaser trailer on the MTV VMAs on Sunday night and it was... short. Gah! They only show Katniss and there's a voice-over of Gale who I thought at first was Peeta but then I read shtuff and found out it was actually Gale...
Anynozzle, they also have Rue's four-note whistle at the end and it. Sounds. Awesome. I know that seems like a lot to say for only four notes, but still. I'm so excited! And I really want to see Katniss chariot-costume (from both Games), her jeweled interview dress, her wedding dress, Effie, Cinna, Gale, Peeta, and all the Capitol people. Oh, and the Hob, District 12, the Capitol itself and the Arena! You guys?

I haven't read The Hunger Games, but I have a friend (not on here) who loves them!
Whatever you're talking about, it sounds pretty cool.
Also, it's been about a year since I joined the CB...not counting absences.....so yeah...

I'm listening to some music from 'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy', a movie I just heard of a few minutes ago while I watched the trailer and really want to watch now. No doubt my parents will probably borrow it. *is off track* ANYWAYS!
The music was composed by Danny Elfman who I don't know much about. DE is composing the score for THG with T. Bone Burnett who I also haven't heard of. Anyways, the music I'm listening to right now sounds awesome and I'M SO EXCITED TO HEAR THE HUNGER GAMES SCORE!!!!!!

There was this fan made trailer thingy that I watched on Youtube because they were trying to be able to audition or something, and it made me cry.

They're making a movie? Awesome! I just hope they don't butcher the book. :( I just finished reading Mockingjay and IT WAS SO SAD!!! I am totally going to watch the movie when it comes out. I can imagine how Rue's whistle would be awesome, it kind of has to be, right? I'm definitely with you on wanting to see everything! If they make a movie for Mockingjay, I really want to see the wedding dress that Cinna modified.

Okay this isn't about the movie or the trailer it's about the series, but I had to say this. I found out that my suspicions were correct and the author based the people of District 12 on the Welsh. There may other people she based it on, but it's mostly Welsh.
And on the trailer: it didn't seem very informative on what the movie would be like.

I just found out something. Those of you who have read the books, how old did you think Clove from District 2 was?
If you answer 12-14 then it's not important, but if you answer older than that then did you know that the actress playing her is 13. I thought she was older than that in the books. I really didn't think that she was that young at all.
@Alexandra: I found it extremely sad. Almost all my favorite characters died.

@Lizzy: I don't know much about the Welsh but I do know that Suzanne Collins wrote the Hunger Games series, not SMeyer... ;)
And re: Clove: I imagined her around 16 or 17. And the actress is thirteen?!?!?! Wow. She's the same age as the actress who plays Rue lol. But Clove (the actress) played the main charrie in Orphan so I give her kudos for that... anyway, have you seen who's playing Cato? He originally auditioned for Peeta. Mellark. And now he's CATO. :(
And re: trailer: I agree. I expected to see Effie or Cinna or CAESER FLICKERMAN but nah, they didn't show any of those people. Just Katniss and the fireballs. And Gale's voice. (I originally thought it was Peeta's) I heard that the director just wanted us to know that they're filming something but gah! I want to see Effie, Cinna and CAESER AND HIS AWESOME BLUE FACE! (or is it green? I forgot)
@SC: You should put a spoiler alert thing next time... :D
@NAME: Fret not! There's much more to the series than the two people who get out alive. And if it makes you feel any better, I knew Dumbledore, Snape, Fred, Harry, Ron, and Hermione, and Ginny's fates before I even read the first book of HP. ;)

Olive- I'm pretty sure Caeser is blue, pale blue.
I just went on Wikipedia and looked at everybody. OMGoshness!!! Look at President Snow, and Cinna, and LOOK AT HAYMITCH.
That guy tried for PEETA? Makes a much better Cato, I think, but all depends on the acting.

Pres. Snow looks awesome except my head!canon says he's fat and balding... Haymitch doesn't look to bad either except I also imagine him as fat and balding with dark brown hair... and Cinna looks good (as long as they get rid of the piercings) except not at all like my head!canon Cinna.
You think Cato is better as Cato? Imho, he looks better as Peeta (though the actual Peeta is a much better choice, again, imo). He was in Race to Witch Mountain but I don't really remember if he's that good or not. But he still SPITS IN THE FACE OF MY HEAD!CANON because my Cato is BIG and has, again, brown hair.
Actually, I don't mind Cato that much anymore because he's Canadian. :P

Yeah, I've always pictured Cinna as kinda red haired, brownish reddish. And like about 23. Kinda ruins the picture in my head, so this guy better be good.

Wikipedia. On the Hunger Games (Film) page. Then they have links to the actors who are on Wikipedia, and those pages usually have pictures of them. Or you can just google image the actors, like what I had to do for Foxface.
