Part 2 of
Chatterbox: Pudding's Place
Part 2 of
Part 2 of the Percy Jackson RP. So the other thread was finished and this is going to be part 2! Admin, I'm just wondering, has there ever been a part 2 of a thread before? Or is this the first one?
This is the first one to the best of my knowledge. In the past it seems that RPs have gone on and on and then just kind of petered out. You all brought this Part 1 to just a nice ending . . . , but allowing the story to go on if the writers so desire! Let Part 2 begin!

Sam—
I sat down on a log. Nell was somewhere in the woods because she had something to do (at least that’s what she told me).
Adonia came up, her face gleaming like rays of sunlight and her auburn hair was being tossed around in the wind. I felt self conscious about my plain looks next to her but I put away the thought as she smiled and gracefully placed herself next to me.
“That smells delicious! May I? Though the calories…”
“You’ll need your strength, so eat.”
She stared at the plate and then started cutting the bacon up with her fork. I felt satisfied and turned back to my breakfast.
I noticed Blake going into the tent in which Tray was situated. I nervously fumbled with my hair and looked away. I still had an uncomfortable feeling from our talk.
“Like him?” Adonia inquired. I felt my face turn bright red and I twisted the end of my blond pony tail around my finger.
“No, no. I had an uncomfortable conversation with him earlier…” I said in a voice that meant: “Drop the subject.”
She was quiet and we ate in silence.
“Sam, help me!” I heard Nell yell. She was holding up a girl dressed in oversized jeans and a ripped sweatshirt. A sword was gleaming in the girl’s hands. Her hair was wild and her eyes stared at each of us fiercely.
“Who are you? Monsters? Go! Leave.” She shoved around with her sword and slashed at the air. The girl flailed about with her arms and screamed high pitched.
Tray and Blake rushed out of the tent and stared at the girl.
I ran to Nell’s aid and dragged the girl over to the logs around the fire.
“STOP! Let me go! Who are you? Leave me alone!” the girl screamed more. I held her down as tears ran down her cheeks.
“What should we do?” I yelled.
“Calm her down,” Blake suggested. I rolled my eyes as I always did in his presence.
“Water! Dunk water on her!” Tray yelled.
Nell and Adonia came back with a giant bottle of water and dumped it on the girl’s head. She sputtered and a shiver went down her back. Her tears mixed with water.
“What do you want?” she managed to squeak.
“Who are you?” Tray asked.
“Sophia Daphne Jargowitz. A half-blood, daughter of Athena. You think I’m crazy, right?” Nell draped a blanket around the girl’s small shoulders.
“No. No, you aren’t. We are like you,” I told her. She blinked once and stared at me.
“You are?”
“We all are.”
“So, I’m not crazy.”
“Not at all.”
Adonia asked: “How did you get here?”
“I don’t know… It’s been so long…”
“Where are you from?” Nell wanted to know.
“I left so long ago…” was all Sophia said.
“Should we give her some new clothes and such?” I quietly talked with Tray.
“I guess, but I don’t know if we can trust her.”
“You trust Blake.” She blushed bright red and looked away.
“That’s none of your business.”
“Uh huh…So, something’s there, huh?”
“Umm…Let’s help Sophia out.” She changed the subject quickly and we picked Sophia up and brought her into the tent.
I found some clothes in Nell’s bag and helped Sophia to change. I noticed that her ribs stuck out and that a huge gash was on her side. A bandage was around it but it was soaked with blood. I slowly undid the bandage and it revealed a deep, bloody gash, probably from a day or two ago. It was purplish and it worried me to look at it.
“What should we do?” I asked Tray.
“Dunno…Ambrosia?”
“Yeah.”
While Tray searched for our little bag of Ambrosia I covered the wound again and helped Sophia change. She seemed exhausted--tired--and scared. As soon as Tray gave her a little square, she fell fast asleep and Tray and I exited the tent.

Oops, that wasn't entirely what I meant... Sophia's never met another halfblood, so she doesn't know what she is... or whose she is. Or, she might have had a dream from her mom or some monster hissed it at her, what do you think? But anyway thanks for the acceptance :).

So I read the first book, and it's really good, for a bunch of kids like us! (REALLY good.) If we edited it a ton and could get permission from Rick Riordan and his publishers, it might be a nice book to publish, though I wouldn't recommend it, because I swear in ten years we'll all feel really super embarrassed about what we wrote here...

Oh, and something to point out... Thanantos isn't Greek for death, at least not Ancient Greek. It's Thanatos, without the extra n (that's transliterated, of course, the Greek is θανατος. Wish me luck with those characters showing up :P).
Spammy says ewmy. Ew my nose is running, maybe? Wipe it, Spammy!!!

Tray-
It was raining. I was soaked, but I didn't care. All I could think about was that girl. Who could her parent be? Hermes maybe. She had that shifty look about her. Blake came out. "You ok?" he asked. "Ya I'm fine. I'm just keep thinking about that Sophia girl. I mean, I know she's a demi-god, but who's her parent? It annoys me!" I complained. He smiled. "Here." He took off the Cardnal's jacket he was wearing and put it over my shoulders. "Thanks." I looked straight at him. His brown eyes were really cute. We leaned in close. "TRAY!" Sam shouted. I sighed, annoyed, and walked over. "Yes?" I asked. "Hey isn't that Blake's jacket?" she asked. I blushed. "You needed me?" I asked. Blake walked up. "Why is she wearing your jacket?" Sam asked. "Okay, can we stop with the jacket?! I was cold, he gave me his jacket! Really is it that hard to comprehend!" I shouted. Adonia came out of the tent. "Who's wearing whose jacket?" she asked. I sighed an annoyed sigh. "Really?" I asked. "Hey isn't that Blake's jacket?" she asked. "I give up! I'm going inside." I walked into the tent." Blake came in after me. "Sorry about that. "It's ok. What can you expect?" "By the way you're 14, right?" I nodded. "Right." He smirked. "No you're not." He smiled. I looked at him nervously. "You turned 15 this morning." I thought about that. I was 15! My birthday was June 20th, this morning! "Ya, I am. How did you know?" I asked. "Sam." Sam, Adonia, and Nell came in holding a black cake. In white icing it said 'don't die yet Tray, happy birhtday!' Then a skull. I smiled. "Thanks guys!"

Sophia says...
A large thing with a lot of snake heads chased me, spitting acid venom. It cornered my in the alley on fifth and fourth [[I just made that up]]. I ran right into the wall and turned around. There it was. It arched its necks back to spit at me. I was doomed. I tried to scream, but no sound came out. I woke up.
I panted, gasping for air. Late afternoon sunlight streamed through the flap in the tent. I sat up, then my side hurt and I clutched it. That wound from the other day, the huge smelly monster with the enormous claws... the wound was poisoned, or infected, or something. That had happened before. The last time it happened, I had been overcome by fever, my whole body shaking, unable to be cool and yet so cold it hurt. Then I had fallen asleep and dreamed of a woman clothed in a long white cloth, with a funny helmet on her head, carrying a spear. I had woken up. It had been night, and an owl flew through the forest and landed on my head. I had fallen asleep again. I woke up the next morning recovered, and decided it was a dream. I wasn't so sure now.
The one called Sam had sat with me before I fell asleep. She said I was a half-blood, half human and half god. Then I had been dreaming of a timeI remembered when my father was alive, when he used to always have a fire going in the fireplace at mealtime, though I never saw him light it. Before we ate, he woul d make me scrape part of my dinner into the fire, which would dance happily. "The fire must be fed," he would say. But that was long ago, and my memories have faded.
But not of the day my father died. I loved my father because he saw much of what I did and sometimes more. But then a woman with a veil came to see us. She was very nice, butmy father didn't like her. He pulled out a sword and she did too. They fought their way around the house, and I thought it was great fun, until she hurt him. She hurt him many times, but they he ran her through and she turned into dust. He picked me up and we ran from the apartment into the car, and he drove to the emergency room. They treated him, but he died a week later. Then was when I left.
After that I found a shining sword hanging in a tree. I put it on. Where did it come from? It killed every monster I fought. I didn't need training; it moved on its own. Why?
Now I don't know. Are they good? Monsters? I don't know. I wishh I knew. Should I trust them?
Sam comes back into the tent. I tense up, ready to fight her if I need to.
She's tense too. "Come on," she says. "You really need to rest, but we can't lost any time. We have to go. Soon. Like now."
[[Oh. My. God. Spammy's turned Oracle. He's making a prediction. He says, "gore." What is in store for our characters now?]]

I don't mean to be pin pricky but I was thinking and Athena's children normally have blond hair and intense grey eyes. It can stay the way you want but I was just saying... :)
And, I don't know what to post because Tray and Sophia's posts seem to clash.
(May 20, 2011 - 11:40 am)
Ah yes. Good catch :). Somehow that skipped my mind when I wrote the profile. And... they don't really have to clash, it's only the weather that clashes (and actually, it's quite possible for it to be pouring one minute and clear-skied four hours later. I mean, Tray's/~Sam~'s post take place in the morning and mine in the afternoon, after Sophia wakes up... so the weather will very possibly have changed. The thing is, there's just a big gap between Sophia falling asleep and Sophia waking up, and since she's asleep all that time, she can't be filling it in...
Spammy says kicy. Isn't there someone who calls Spammy Kicy? Don't remember.

Okay, I don't really get what just happened. Can someone please explain it to me? I don't really get it.

I have no idea, really. I've been gone at Outdoor School, so I have no idea what has happened pretty much...
(May 20, 2011 - 7:20 pm)
We have to leave really soon but I promise I will explain later... or try to...
(May 21, 2011 - 9:17 am)
Ok. So... I'm myself not really sure what startede this, but I THINK that Nick made an appearance at Camp Half-Blood, and so all the heroes, plus Adonia, set out to destroy Nick and regain Jenifer. And they were on this island or something, when they found MY CHARACTER (yay!), Sophia, and she's a daughter of Athena but none of them realizes this... she's convinced she's crazy because of all the monsters attacking her that no one else seems to see... and has a wound in her side from a monster attack. They give her ambrosia and put her to bed in their tent, and when she wakes up that afternoon Sam comes in and tells her that they have to leave now (then). And I'm not sure why, because I haven't thought of anything, but they may be under attack from monsters or, worse, monsters sent by Nick... so there's a blank to be filled in.
Oh... and what's Outdoor School, or whatever you called it?
Spammy's trying to answer my question, but all he can say is afna.
(May 21, 2011 - 11:47 am)
Ok, I want to post but ZB just did so I won't yet... I'll brainstorm in the mean time! :)
(May 22, 2011 - 3:02 am)
It's where you go to camp for 3 days and learn about nature and stuff. It's pretty fun, you stay in cabins and meet kids from other schools. Good experience, though I'm pretty tired. Yeah, that's pretty much what's happened. Now Nick and Jen are somewhere in the Meditteranean recruiting demi-gods and monsters to help Jen, who's the only one who can do it, wake up Uranus. Nick has a crush on Tray, so he has a soft side with that group, and Jason has crossed to the evilllll side so he and Jen are going to date. That's pretty much all that's happened. And then there's the whole entire flabbergastingly quoopdelicious (yes, I just made up that word. Don't doubt me...) Part 1 of this RP. I feel this really proud/awesomesauce feeling that I made a RP that was sooo popular that it got to a Part 2. That's just quoopdelicious (yes, I jsut said quoopdelicios twice. Whoop I said it a 3rd time :D) Okay, I have no creative juice right now, the grocery store ran out of Cranberry juice so I can't make my quoopdeliciously awesome Gatorade/Cranberry/Water mix that helps me think.
