So when you

So when you buy sheet music, where do you get it? At a physical store, or off the internet?

I like to find websites where you can get sheet music for free. I've gotten some really great music from SheetzBox, such as songs from Queen and Journey. If I were to actually buy it, I'd get it online. So much more convenient.

Well, I haven't bought sheet music but music books. And I got them on amazon. They come very quickly.

Sometimes I'd copy songs from books my piano teacher had, or that friend's have.  I don't play piano anymore, but my sister does (and she plays guitar) and she finds her music online.  For guitar, she likes to look up tutorials on Youtube of the songs she wants to play.

@MJ: I get music from SheetzBox as well and I love it!  The only unfortunate thing is that sometimes it doesn't have what I want. :(  I have gotten a lot of sheet music from musicals from there.  I got a ton of Wicked stuff, but then my parents got me the actual book of music for Christmas and I was so happy!!  I just wish I had more time to play the music. :)

My dad got a subscription to Virtual Sheet Music a few years ago, and it was great, because we were able to get whatever we wanted whenever we wanted for a year.  However, I believe it cost money, though I'm not absolutely sure.

But anyway, I just google free online sheet music sometimes and see if I can find what I'm looking for.  My friend goes on a certain website I'm forgetting, so I'll ask her what it is for you. :)

Buy sheet music. Okay. Buy.

Well, for piano, my music school runs a shop that has a bunch of books which are sometimes filled with just one song, sometimes filled with tens of pieces. I usually just buy what's required for the year though. If I'm looking for sheet music for, um, Justin Bieber or something (I don't look for sheets of music by him, I'm just using him as an example) I'll search online for something that's free. I usually don't do that thought because I'm too lazy and/or have too much homework. :)

Thanks, guys! I usually get mine from an online store called Musicnotes, which has a pretty big selection, but recently I couldn't find something I needed (I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here from Annie), so I had to get it from someplace else. As I was trying to find another online place that had it, I was stricken with curiosity as to where other people buy music.

Buy music??? When I get the real copies (for competitions, etc.)  I get them form Hutchins and Rea or Brodt Music.  When I just want something to practice on I get it off Imslp.   It's free!

Kicy says teaw.  The Awe?  Is that a song...or a play...or a movie...or some wacky invention of Kicy's that nobody should pay any atention to???? *grins wickedly for no reason whatsoever*

Oh, one day the code thingy said "kicy" and I liked it better than Inya, so I changed it.

Kicy says gggk.  Sounds like she's choking....
