Okay, since no one's posted yet, and I REALLY don't want this thread to die, I guess I'll just post again. Someone please post! It just feels like I'm writing to myself, if you know what I mean. :-) 

The sun came up and shone its bright beams into my den. I stretched out in my bed of leaves. Last night, Seastar had helped me hunt out a new den. It was close enough to Mintcloud's den so that I could help her when needed, but it was far enough away to give me some privacy. I jumped out of the tangled roots of Skytree, the tallest tree in the forest, and plodded over to Mintcloud's den.

"Good morning, Tigerpaw!" Mintcloud greeted me.

"Good morning!" I responded. Mintcloud was gathering up some leaves and roots.

"I'm going to go check on Waspstar and the kits. Would you like to accompany me?" she asked.

"Yes, please," I answered and plodded after Mintcloud. When we arrived at Waspstar's den, the kits were tumbling about. It was bright enough to see what they looked like. The one called Mosskit looked exactly like his mother. He was light grey with dark stripes, and brown eyes. He was playfully pawing his brother, Sandkit. Sandkit was a beautiful sandy golden color with green eyes. His sister, Runningkit, was a light grey, like her mother and brother, but did not have any stripes. She was cuddled against her mother, fast asleep.

"Hello, Mintcloud," Waspstar said and nodded to me.

"Hello, Waspstar. How are you feeling today?" Mintcloud asked.

"I'm better. I have been getting a lot of rest, and am feeling much better than before, thanks to you," Waspstar replied.

"I have some roots that might make you feel a bit better and help you to recover faster," Mintcloud told her. "Tigerpaw, take those roots and grind them with a stone into a fine powder," she instructed me. I took the roots and ground them as Mintcloud checked Waspstar to make sure that there was nothing wrong with her. "You look as healthy and well as ever. In a few days, you will be able to get up and walk around as usual, though you will still need some rest. Tigerpaw, are you done with the roots?"

"Yes, ma'am," I replied. "Here they are."

"Mix them into some water that I brought. Make sure it's exactly two cups," Mintcloud said. I followed her instructions and handed the mixture to her. She helped Waspstar drink it, while I watched the kits. Runningkit was still sleeping. Sandkit and Mosskit had resorted to some sort of staring game. They stared fiercely at each other for a few minutes, and then started tumbling about together again. "Are you ready to go?" Mintcloud asked me.

"I'm ready if you are!" I responded.

"Thank you ever so much, Mintcloud," Waspstar said.

"You're welcome," Mintcloud responded. We walked together out of the cave. When we arrived back at camp, we were both taken aback to find the whole camp in panic. "What's going on?" Mintcloud asked, but everyone was too frightened to answer. "I'm going to go find Seastar. HE will tell me something," Mintcloud muttered and stormed off. I quietly followed behind her.
