Does anybody else

Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Does anybody else

Does anybody else like old-time artists? Not to offend anyone who likes new artists, but it gets frustrating knowing about all of these awesome people and always hearing about somebody new that I've never heard of before in my life...:S

So, here's a list of my favorite artists, and some really good songs by them to look up on Youtube:

Luther Vandross (There's Nothing Better Than Love)

Billy Joel (It's All About Soul)

The Beatles (Hey You've Got To Hide Your Love Away)

Simon and Garfunkel (The Sound of Silence)

Stevie Wonder (You Haven't Done Nothin')

Gladys Knight and the Pips (Midnight Train to Georgia)

Marvin Gaye (I Heard it Through The Grapevine; with Tammi Terrell-Ain't No Mountain High Enough)

Aaron Neville (Can't Stop My Heart From Loving You)

Bob Marley (No Woman, No Cry)

Cocoa Tea (Please Don't Give Your Love Away)

Nasio Fontaine (When)

Diana Ross (I Will Survive)

Olivia Newton-John (Deeper Than The Night)

Sheesh, that was long, and that's not even all of them. :S I'll probably think of more later...

Anyway, has anybody ever heard of any of these guys? And no, The Beatles don't count. ;) If you haven't, look up those songs!

I like Simon and Garfunkel. My favorite one by them is *can't remember exact name* the one about the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh.

"Chase all the clouds in the sky (chase the clouds awaaay...)"

@Brynne: Hey! Haven't seen you around in a while. :) Yes, Simon and Garfunkel are great. And that sounds like a pretty song. :) Have you heard "Bridge Over Troubled Water?"

Of those, the only one I really love is Bob Marley.  I know all the lyrics to pretty much all his songs. :) And "No Woman No Cry" is like my favorite song at the moment, too.  I might be able to see Ziggy Marley this summer!

@Brynne: Aw, I love that song. <3 My mom used to sing that to me as a lullaby so it always will have special place in my heart.
