I take Ballet at an awesome dance studio and my teacher, M, is new at teaching girls above the age of six. We don't usually start learning our recital dances until February, but M was so excited that she started choreographing our dance before Nutcracker was over.  Anyway, the song she picked out is amazing: 'Snow (hey oh) by The Vitamin String quartet. It's amazing!!!!!!  I love it!!!!!!!  And our costume is a romantic tutu and the bodice is covered in sparkles.  It's a greenish turquoise (sp?).

Dogi says uubd.  He just woke up, or he has a cold.

back to the Pudding's Place

I did ballet when I was in second grade.  It wasn't for me.  I mean, it wasn't too hard, but I didn't really like it.  Everyone who is not a ballerina thinks it looks easy, but it's a lot of hard work.

 

In third grade, I started ballet, and fell in love.  I did that in fourth and fifth grade, too.  Also in fifth grade, I did tap.  Since I could do as much stuff in tap as people who had done tap that year and the year before, I chose tap when I had to choose just one class in sixth grade (b/c of drama club).  I still tap.

Tap!?  I love Tap!  That is my fav kind of dance I'm taking right now.  My costume for that class is black, footless, ripped tights; a red tutu; and a bright colored cut t-shirt.  We're dancing to Misunderstood by Pink.

Tap? I love tap! Half an hour ago (I think) I just came back from dance. I do ballet then tap. Tap rocks. I find ballet okay. Like Analesia (when she was in second grade) it's not really my thing. And Charlotte, it's so cool that you're in The Nutcracker!

@Olive: Funny, I take Ballet and then Tap too, I'd wonder things, but you put that up on wednesday and my classes are on tuesday.

I  take modern. I had something called Teenie Ballerinas when I was 3-4 but I stopped cause I didn't find it serious enough. I'd love to start it again but I feel lime I'm too old..Cry

I take ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary. I was the Doll and a Flower in the Nutcracker this year.
