Disney + Disney World
I love Disney!! My favorite CDs are the Disney's Greatest CDs.
Also, I have read the Complete Disney World Guidebook 2008 at least five (million) times. Did you know that Disney World is *looks for guidebook* I can't find it!
I was going to tell you exactly how much bigger Disney World is than Manhattan, but now all I can say is that it is bigger.
Even though I can tell you one fun fact about each ride (even the Wonders of Life pavilion in Epcot, that closed in 2004), I have not gone there yet. I am finally going in August! If I can get my little sis on a plane. Any advice?

I went to Disney World once. I think I enjoyed it, but I don't remember much because I was only five. Now, though, I don't like much Disney at all. (Speaking of which, has anyone else read the fanfiction "Walt Disney Presents: The Lord of the Rings"? It describes what Disney would turn LotR into if they ever got their hands on it. Rather traumatizing for hardcore Tolkien fans, but still funny, and highly recommended. I will never complain about the LotR movies again: they could have been so much worse.)

AAAAAHHHH!!!! WHAT WOULD DISNEY DO IF THEY GOT ITS PAWS ON LOTR???? MAKES ME FAINT JUST THINKING ABOUT IT!!!!
Sorry for freaking out, but I love LOTR and hate Disney.

That's why I said traumatising. ;D Though I still highly recommend the fic. JRRT didn't like Disney either, did you know?

Disney World is bigger than Manhattan?
Anyways, I have been to Disney Land before, but not Disney World. Oh, and has anyone been on Splash Mountain? That log ride where you go down a waterfall? It's one of my favourite rides. But the last time I went on it was when I was 8. :-( When I'm old enough to travel on my own, I'm going to Florida first. :-)

@ Olive: Yep. It's twice the size- 47 square miles.
My aunt booked our rooms! We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside!

My family and I went to Disneyworld when I was about seven. It was fun, but I'm not exactly dying to go back.
I love Disney movies-- well, the older Disney movies, anyway. Especially the ones in the nineties. (The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast etc.)

The HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME! YEEEEEES!!!
Nowadays, Disney is...meh at best, a catastrophe at worst.

I know! They need to do another painted cel movie, not another computer animated one. Pfut! Computer animated!

Okay, I confess I had to look this one up. But Wikipedia has a list of computer animated movies, and some of the best animated movies I've ever seen (Hoodwinked, How to Train Your Dragon, Despicable Me, Finding Nemo, Tangled, VeggieTales Jonah, etc.) are on it. I think I can safely conclude that I like computer animation. What's your problem with it?
(January 3, 2011 - 8:20 am)
Oh, I just meant the painted cel ones were the classic Disney movies. By that comment, I meant computer animation meant the Disney company was straying farther and farther away from the movies Disney himself made.

I love Allstar Weekend. Best disney band EVAH. Except for maybe... well, I'm sure you know. ;)

I hope you don't mean the Jonah Brothers. But if you do that's fine. It's just my opinion.

That sounds like so much fun, Analesia!! I went to Disney World a few years ago, so I'll tell you my favorite rides. I especially love the ones that play the classic Disney songs.
-Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom--a roller coaster in the dark
-"Soaring" in Epcot--you sit in the air in a fake hanglider in front of a curved screen so it feels like you're (obviously) soaring. I rode it 3 times in a row.
-The Snow White, Pooh Bear, Toy Story and Peter Pan rides in the Magic Kingdom. You can miss out on these! Oh, and the Dumbo ride, if you feel like waiting a super long time in line.
-The Tower of Terror in MGM studios. An elevator that takes you up and drops you multiple times....the people in costume there are brilliant actors
-Pirates of the Carribean!!! It's in the Magic Kingdom. Do not miss it.
Make sure you go in Mickey and Minnie's houses!! They're so cute.
