Marigold or burdock root is good for infection, as well as dried oak leaf. Cobwebs and even yarrow can be used to stop the bleeding, and some moss dipped in a poultice of water, marigold, and dock can be used to clean it out and sooth it.

((This is Nightstar's human controller here... Er... Do you not know what bile is? Because, the thing is, you don't 'make' it. It's a liquid in the liver... So mouse bile would actually be something you take from the liver of a mouse. Just saying... So some people other than Erin Hunter actually do know...))

Yes, this is Owlpeck, who, has an extreme case of, er, how should I put it, overconfidence? This is Emberstripe. I'd stay outta her fur, by the way! That is Mintflower, she's nice. Orangepaw is older than both his mentors; that's my best friend over there, Mintpool. She's nice, but can be, ummmm, sarcastic, annoying, pushy, judgmental. (Mintpool in the backround: I heard that!) *Blushes* Er, right. I, by the way, am Sageleaf! Youngest medicine cat in the history of Lakeclan. I became one at 9 or 10 moons. I am 12 moons now by the way. I am the youngest one in the clan, still! But on to other matters. That's our leader, Nightstar, and our other medicine cat, Dawnbreeze. But other than that, I think that's it. If I missed anybody, I am truly sorry. But that is our clan! I hope you like it here, Grassfire!
