GOOGLEWHACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello, fellow CBs!! We're not sure how many of you have heard of Googlewhacking, but lemme tell you, IT'S LOADS OF FUN. Go to Google and search two random words- we pick two random words out of the dictionary. Then, under the search bar, it will tell you how many results came up. A true Googlewhack comes up with only one result. We found one true Googlewhack so far- heptastitch Powderly. Here is our list of Googlewhacks that come up with under 200 results- (not including our Googlewhack), and any you post would please be under 200 also.
103 results- ouachita oquvasa
118- ebulition tricotyledonous
1- HEPTASTITCH POWDERLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5- slipstitch thermy
128- per- tumarole
158- micrometeorite self-complacent
27- tiki maskalonge
Thanks, and enjoy your "wacky" searches!!! *wink wink*
P.S. If any of you find another thread by us with the same topic, use whichever one you like. We posted that thread yesterday and are pretty sure it got lost in the process and isn't going to be posted. Thanks again!!

OK this is addictive. The midgey-ridge or ridgey-midge or whatever made me laugh. The Merriam-Webster website has some good words for use of Googlewhacking. I wonder how many results Googlewhack has?
Mine is Hemidemisemiquaver Zestiness with 158 results.

Replying to Becca and Rachel, googlewhacking IS loads o' fun. I tried it myself! Have u ever been on microsoft word and had the capitalization checked? Bingo! You've been "carelessing Is". It's REAL FUN! A true carelessing I is when you start a new sentence and forget to capitalize the 1st letter and the computer has to do it for you. So the computer gets you the A plus!

I found a Googlewhack!! It's 'bizarre arctisconia!' Mind you, this wasn't exactly a random guess. I already knew that 'arctisconia' got very few resUlts, most of which were archaic and in foreign languages, but one was modern and in English, so, wondering if I had a potential Googlewhack, I chose a word from it that was used often enough on that page that it was guarranteed to be a result, but not so common a word in general that it was likely to be on many others--and it worked! Immediately! It might have been cheating, since I was deliberately choosing a single result as my target for the 'Whack, and Arctisconia is actually an archaic, probably foreign term, but I don't really care! Unrationally, I am very excited about finding 2 words which, typed into a widey used search engine, only get one result! Yay!

Xenophobic xlyophague-0 results! HAHAHA!
Of course, I might have been cheating, because I'm not sure if xylophague is really a word. :S
OK, how's about...archaic serotype! Hang on a second...darn it, 29,100! :P
eurythermal evection-1,020.
odoriferous filoselle-2,080.
OK, obviously I'm terrible at this, so just one more..

Me and Wolfy got 7 results for...
Hexakontakosioihexakontahexaphobia bumbershoot
(Both are words; the former means fear of the number 666, and the second means umbrella.)
You'll have to check if I spelled 666phobia right. :D
Vick says xgwn and vrcx. Um. Hey why don't we use these to googlewhack?

Wolfy and I /nitpickery :D Where do you find words like 666phobia? I use the Save the Words website for mine. It lists words that are old/rare/fallen out of usage. Google it; it should be the first result. The page takes a while to load, but is well worth it.
