Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Timeless songs.

Timeless songs.

Do any of you guys know any timeless songs? (like songs from the 70s that still can pass off as current, something from 03 would also pass as timeless :-P) Here are the Timelesses I know:

Dance Like There's No Tomorrow (Paula Abdul & Randy Jackson)

Kiss From a Rose (Seal)

Most Michael Jackson songs (RIP)

Tell Me 'Bout It (Joss Stone)

Some Kind of Wonderful (Joss Stone)

New Soul (Yael Naim)

Concrete Angel (Martina McBride)

If you know any timeless songs, post them! I'd love to have some more songs to listen to! Laterz!

Some of my favorites are really old ones from the 1950s or '30s, I think: Make-Believe and Old Man River (both from Showboat), The Man I Love by Gershwin, Someone to Watch Over Me, and others. We hear them every summer at outdoor concerts. They're timeless classics.

Trixy! Yay!

@(violin) Admin: I am singing "Bill" from Showboat for musical theater camp this week.

Songs from musicals that are still popular (Annie, Sound of Music, Oklahoma, Fiddler on the Roof, Hairspray (? How old is that?) etc. are pretty timeless, because the musical is. Don't you think?

I wasn't going to reply to this, but I saw that you mentioned Concrete Angel.  I'm not a big fan of the song, but it has the most heartbreaking video.  My friends and I all cried the first times we saw it.
