Wicked. Because

Wicked. Because
Wicked. Because nobody is posting on the other Wicked threads, I thought I'd start a new one. Everyone is mentioning how much they like Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel, and how they wish they would come back to Broadway. I love their voices, too, but I actually like the present cast, with Marcie Dodd and Alli Mauzey, better!
Chenowith makes Glinda seem really funny, but, for instance, in "Popular," she seemed too -- silly, I guess. It seemed like she was doing it just for the audience. Mauzey made her funny, too, but with her I actually believed she was genuinely obsessed with hersel f-- she seemed real and ridiculous at the same time. Amazing.
This show is genius. I havn't read Wicked yet, but the play made me cry more than once, and I don't cry during shows. I've probably played the soundtrack fifty times, no joke. I can't get the songs out of my head! No, really. I caught myself humming, OUT LOUD, "Defying Gravity" in CLASS the other day. I think it's a bad sign. And it may be coming near us soon, and I want to go see it again!
Yes, I am obsessed. (If you hadn't noticed!)

Wicked is quite obsessive.
I will find myself jumping from Priest to No Good Deed, which CAN'T be a good combination but oh well...
