Tuesday was the violin concert! It was so much fun. We played Cripple Creek, At the Grasshopper Ball, Pizzacoto Pizzaz, and Dobis De Pacem or something like that. During the concert my friends bridge broke, but the teacher fixed it really fast. It was my first violin concert ever!
Congratulations on your concert, Choco. It's such a good feeling to practice hard and give a good performance. And music gives much joy to so many people. Was that piece call Dona Nobis Pacem? That's Latin for "Give us peace," and the music can be performed as a beautiful round.

I wish I could've gone!! Wednesday was my bandfest day, and trust me 700+ minutes of playing your flute really hurts your arms. I had fun though because Mr.Fergie was there all day! (LOL) He called me annoying. :(
Keep Smiling :)

@Admin: I really like the Dona Nobis Pachem. We sang it in the choir I used to be in.

I love Dona Nobis Pachem!!! It's soo beautiful, and when sung as a round, the melody really fits the words. I agree with you, Old Cricket. I haven't heard of the other pieces, but I'm sure you played them well! Oh, that's horrible that your friend's bridge broke! At least a string didn't break, because that would have taken longer to fix, I presume. Depends on how fast your teacher fixed the bridge. Congrats on your first violin concert, and hope the many more to come go wonderfully!

Ooh! Ooh! When I went to All-State this year for choir, we did a version of Dona Nobis Pacem! You're right, Old Cricket, it's beautiful.
