Venetian Princess... Anyb

Venetian Princess... Anybody heard of her? She's one of those YouTubers who got famous, I believe, and she's now on iTunes. She has four albums, AFAIK. If Gerard Alessandrini is Forbidden Broadway*, she's Forbidden Pop Culture. She does these hilarious parodies of songs like Tik Tok and Pokerface. And Jo Bro and HM and suchlike. And Taylor Swift. I like TSwift (and just asked mom to buy me Fearless for Easter instead of candy *guilty grin*), but it's fine to poke clean fun at even things you enjoy.

There's also a Twilight parody (Vegetarian Vampire) that I have let to get the lyrics to.

Some of her songs are *definitely* rather distasteful, though (Octomom song? 7 Things parody? Yes. Very distasteful). So... yeah. But in the cleaner songs, the lyrics are often quite clever.

And the parody of Tik Tok (The Snooki Song) is a Jersey girls song! *cheers*

*Yes, I took the time to look FB up and now enjoy several of the songs. I have too much time, k? And I only play one sport.

I am listening to most of the Venetian Princess through the itunes shop. It's hard to hear the lyrics though. She is definately not that good of a singer, but still, very funny. I think Vegetarian Vampire and You'll look like Poo are pretty cool. Jonas Brothers Addict Anthem is creepy but the Octomom song sounds cool, except for the lyrics... Anyways, thanks for letting me know about Venetian Princess. *two thumbs up*

I havew not heard of her until now. I am now listening to the Snooki song, because I got onto her channel, somehow, and that's the first thing that came up. Didn't even have to try to play it. I like Outer Space and You Look like Poo... Quite hilarious. When the wind is flooding your house, well who cares as long as your wearing my blouse. I may be incorrect in that... I also like that she says she always looks 'cute' and then people watch her sing with the sound on mute.
