Welcome. I have been expecting you.*
Which is a strange thing to say, don’t you think? How could I have been waiting for you, specifically? Well, you came here because you were curious and brave enough to find out. And those are the people who always take up my call.**
The question is, are you brave and curious enough to continue on?
You know me, and I know you. But you don’t know exactly who I am. Well. That’s fine by me. For now, you may think of me as the Shadow.
Menacing, I know. And a bit silly, if you really think about it. But I have learned that adding ‘the’ before a name, especially the name of an unknown being, makes it all the more frightening, intrigueing, and mysterious. I also chose the Shadow as my undercover name because the moment you enter my maze, I will always know where you are, always with you, always watching, like your own shadow.
Again. Welcome. Welcome the the ski lodge of the Labyrinth.
The rules are simple. You go in. Find the center. First one there, wins. The others, lose. 
What do you win, you wonder? Well. You should be asking what do you lose.
Those who decide to continue will enter the Labyrinth sometime between now and next month, when I hopefully have enough contestants.
Just to make it clear, this is not a safe in the slightest. You will almost definitely fail, all of you. Die, even. Will you take the risk?

*The fear factor isn't very high, 4/10 perhaps. Gore, blood, and explicit surrenders and deaths are kept to a very bare minimum, there shouldn't be any at all.

Appearance: Dirty blonde hairin a pixie cut, green eyes, fairy-grunge cothing style.
Personality: Intelligent, empathetic, and sllightly chaotic/insane
Would you rather work alone, or with a teammate?: Yes! 
Would you be fine with a supernatural superpower?: Sure? Though if not that's fine too! :)
What is your strongest personality suit?: I can figure stuff out really fast! (does that count? lol)
Are you a risk taker?: Fortunatly, yes.
Prefered weapons (if any): A staff.
Skills: I can run REALLY fast, I can be ten feet up a tree in one minute, and I'm good at riddles.
Are you a sore loser?: Nope!
Name some things you fear (please be truthful): Megalophobia (the irrational fear of large things, such as Wind Turbines, large buildings, and oversized flags.)
Do you have a good sense of direction?: Yes! I took a navigation class last spring.
On a scale from 1-10 (1 lowest, 10 highest) how curious are you?: Probably a 6, I'm curious, but I think through my options.
How brave?: Oh, OHHOHOHO! I've faced practically every fear I have, I've seen horror game walkthroughs, I've seen every jumpscare, gory bit, and disturbing scene known t the gaming universe, almost NOTHING scares me. (it's true tho) I know it's not going to be scary but yah.
Other: Hm... I can spit random facts of knowledge, that might become useful.
I'm excited to see where this goes, the Shadow, and thank you for allowing me to try and take part in this.

Name: Darkvine
Pronouns: they/them
Appearance: shoulder length black hair with dark green streaks, left eye is glittery gold and right eye is iridescent blue. wears a black t-shirt and black jeans, dark purple cloak, and black boots. I'm rather short.
Personality: silly and funny, predictably unpredictable. I love all animals, especially the ones that people don't like such as snakes and spiders. I am an extremely loyal friend, you can trust me with your life and I would die to save my friends from danger *intense stare* anyway, if at any point I come across an angry dragon, I would probably try to figure out what's making the dragon angry and fix it instead of running and screaming.
Would you rather work alone, or with a teammate?: I do my best work alone but if there's an opportunity to have teammates I would probably have them, especially if they're not as experienced a fighter (protecting the innocent vibes intensify)
Would you be fine with a supernatural superpower?: yes! all the superpowers!
What is your strongest personality suit?: I'm kind and loyal, and I don't judge people and animals based on appearances.
Are you a risk taker?: sometimes
Prefered weapons (if any): I'm skilled with a sword, dagger, bow/arrow, and my fists. I prefer to use a sword though.
Skills: I'm decent at fighting and I know a lot about animals
Are you a sore loser?: not really
Name some things you fear (please be truthful): swarms of small stinging/biting insects, failing to protect my friends, getting trapped in a fire
Do you have a good sense of direction?: kind of. I can't find my way around my own neighborhood but I've read books on how to navigate the wilderness.
On a scale from 1-10 (1 lowest, 10 highest) how curious are you? How brave?: maybe 8 or 9 for curious (I get distracted easily and am very impulsive, but I still know how to excercise caution) and 10 for bravery.

Pronouns: they/them. wasn't born with these pronouns, but nobody is born with pronouns. they're not physical parts of you.
Appearance: very tall and pale. messy brown hair, round glasses. pink lips. blank stares and, im told, cartoonishly exaggerated expressions. twitchy. round face. longish nose. short fingernails, because i bite them in my sleep. hoodies and sweatpants ftw
Personality: yes. talkative and shrill. kind of manic, im told. argumentative but not rude, at least, not intentionally. i guess i don't know what i seem like to others, but people frequently say that im like a cryptid. i tend to hyperfixate on things, get frustrated easily, and monologue constantly. i cry easily when watching movies and i constantly mutter song lyrics and bars under my breath without meaning to.
