Just a thread to post acrostic poetry :) which is basically a poem that spells out a word when taken the first letter of each line

Nostalgia
Nurtured memories
Omens from the past
Small, fleeting emotions
Taken away by the wind
A faint smile and a last
Lingering tear filled with
Golden light deep and buried
Inside your mind somewhere
And you are a child once more

Flying
Falling through the empty sky -
Life rushes and falls with me,
Yet I know only death awaits.
I recall when my wings still spread -
Now they are broken, but I can still
Glide and soar joyously in my mind
