Poem Challenge:
This is similar to the Poetry Contest, but instead of prompts, we do challenges. The rules are the same as for the Poetry Contest and Writing Contest (I judge the entries by a certain day. The winner is the next judge, and so on.)
The first challenge is to choose three random words (from a generator, a dictionary, at random, etc.) and incorporate those in your poem. Be sure to write down what the three words are!
The judging day will be....
Febuary 10th! 15 days to write your poems.
I'm excited to see them :)

P.S Booksy Owly, your Contest is awesome. I swear I'm not trying to copy
Make sure to check theirs out (it's called the Poetry Contest).

The words I got was lost, college, and dish
Found
Hopelessly lost
In visions of the
Future, of college,
Of career, of hopes,
Of dreams (currently
Getting crushed), of
Trying to make a
Living but still doing
Something I want
If only it wasn’t
A path with multiple
Branches, if only it
Was served to me on
A silver dish, if
Only the future could
Just come to me
As easily as poetry
If only in the maze
That is the future
I could be somehow
Found

I'm so sorry for posting this after the deadline! Since there was only one entry, I'll extend the deadline to Febuary 20th.

My words were flash, learn, and expose. I'm uploading a picture instead of copy+pasting it here bc often the formatting doesn't come through. I wrote this during science class...

I'm glad Chatterbox is up and running! Since it's been down for quite a while, I'll extend the deadline to, let's say... March 25th?

Hi! Sorry for posting the results late, I was on vacation.
I quite enjoyed both stories and it was difficult to choose. :) But without further ado...
Second Place - Moon Wolf
I love the direction you went with this poem! The melancholic story of the future and multiple branches portrays the feelings of feeling lost with choices. I liked how the title links to the last few lines and is the last word of the poem, as well as how you included the three words in a way that flowed well. (Me personally, I would never be able to include the word 'dish' in a poem without sounding too silly, lol)
First Place - Rainbow
The poem was quite well crafted. I love the feeling of a photo being taken and how it connects to society and lies by our world. It conveys thoughts of self-doubt and the want to be perfect. It reminded me of how people (especially online) seem so perfect in every way and how many compare themselves to these. The repetition of cameras flashing really gave a visual depth to the poem. Congrats! You're the next judge
All in all, I really enjoyed both your poems! They were fun to read.
P.S The captcha for this was 'cubra' (cobra???).
