Music Club
So for my CBversary a few people said they wanted to do this. I am working on a Little Lost Library revival but that will probably take a while. In the meantime, here's the music club!
This is for anyone who loves music and wants to discover new artists. To join, just comment saying you want to join. Next Friday, we'll start rotating, starting with me and then in order of who commented. Anyone can join the rotation at any time! If you comment saying you want to join, you'll be added to the end of the rotation.
The way it will work is each week, the next person in the rotation picks an album to reccomend, and everyone listens to it. Once you've listened to the album, say a little about what you thought of it! Doesn't have to be too much, just something like, "I enjoyed it" or "It wasn't really for me" and maybe something like "___ was my favorite song" or whatever.
I think that's it! We'll start on the 26th :D

My opinion on Golden (once again it applies only to the beginning of the album--I'm sort of busy these days):
Once again, it was okay. I sort of liked the calmer songs, but the the one thing is I don't like rapping or anything similar, and since there was a fair amount of that, I'd rate it 7 of 10, I think. My favorite song was probably Seven.

If anyone's watching over this thread--it's been over a week since Hawkstar posted, so now it's Wren's turn, although I am not sure if they're active on the CB. Wren, if you see this, it is your turn to choose an album for us to listen to. We shall give Wren a week to choose, and then according to the rotation it will be my turn (despite my lack of time, I'm still excited!).

If anyone is still interested in this thread/has time to listen to at least some of the music/is active, then the new album for this week is Pageant Material by Kacey Musgraves. It's, in my opinion, a fairly good album; genre-wise, it's mostly country with a little bit of pop, and happier in the beginning towards a less-happy end (though there are no Really Sad Songs). My favorite song from the album is probably Dime Store Cowgirl. I'm interested to hear any and all opinions on the album.
