The cover was hard-backed, and it was painted a nice green color. The spine was stiff, and the pages had that smell that only brand new, just-off-the-shelf-smell books had. The pages were white, and had rough edges to give it an olden appearance. There were no words on the pages, blank landscapes page after page. The cover had golden words written in cursive on it, and it spelled out; Booklyn: A place to write your own tail
For some reason, 'tail' replaced 'tale', which didn't make much since, but it didn't really matter all that much. On the title page, the only page with writing, had the publishing date, which read now. Below that, in smaller writing, were the words, Curious? You are my type of person. Tap HERE to learn more.
Once the word HERE was tapped, the air above the open book stuttered, and from the page a hologram appeared. It was of a lady, and though her features were blurred, anyone could see her dark skin, her short, crazy curly hair, and bright, happy eyes. Her teeth were blindingly white, even in this recording, as she smiled and began to speak.
Greetings, fellow book lover. I am The Librarian, and I am inviting you, whomever you are, to join me for a week here in my library. This place is a time to think, relax, read, and be inspired to write stories and poems. I sincerely hope you come, and I will welcome you with open arms. Toodles!
The hologram paused, and then the book flipped to the next page on it's own accord. Now, instead of a white page, a form appeared in that familiar golden writing.

If you haven't realized by now, this is a ski lodge. There will be no gore, blood, or explicit violence. This lodge will begin on the 1st of January, and no AEs, OCs, or CAPTCHAs. CBers only, and there is a 20 person limit (but I doubt it will get that high. Whatever number of people that have joined by the 1st will be that much. The spots will close regardless of filling all 20 spots or not). Feel free to guess me! Toodles!

Appearance (please include your usual attire): Asian, too skinny; usually wearing: my trusty bright green, deep-and-zippered-pocketed, hoodied rain/snow/wind jacket! T-shirt/long-sleeve, leggings, tennis shoes, random socks... comfy and practical over fashionable clothes always! Mostly cause idk what fashionable clothes are... :) a (not-smart) watch on my left wrist, a hairtie on my right, long black hair tied up in a ponytail
Personality: shy, enthusiastic, passionate, just think excited puppy :)
Do you write, or read more?: read? write? read AND write? Well, I read what I write but I don't necessarily write what I read, so read. :)

Appearance(Please include your usual attire): I'm white, with slightly tanned skin, very straight dark brown hair just past shoulder length, slightly chubby, and have rosy cheeks. I usually wear a tye-dye sweatshirt and turquoise flare leggings or a yellow hoodie and light blue high rise leggings, and I wear high black boots with lots of fluffy stuff inside when I'm outdoors, and purple sneakers when I'm indoors.
Personality: I am optimistic and super playful when you get to know me, but super shy at first. (So, yeah. Introverted.)
Do you write or read more?: Read. I LOVE writing, but I definitely read more.

Basically, I'm writing a story (and including you in it) and there will be a murderer, (how the murderer comes along is different every time) who will sneak around and kill off everyone else. Wish I could put it less bluntly :p (Kind of like among us, if you know what that is) I hope I make your first experiance in a ski lodge a good one, just as another CBer did for me when she wrote one of her ski lodges!

I haven't joined a ski lodge in a while (often I'm busy and I always feel bad when I can't consistently comment on them) but you had me had library (and I will try to keep up with and read this one)!

Appearance (please include your usual attire): short periwinkle pixie cut, dark eyes with stars in them. Light skin and some small freckles, plus rosy cheeks. Average height. Usually appears in a t-shirt, leggings, and sneakers that have seen better days.
Personality: I'm eager to help and do my best to be a supportive, kind person, but am prone to anxiety.
Do you write, or read more?: uhh it's hard to judge but I'd say read? It's very close though

Appearance (please include your usual attire): Slightly taller than average, with shoulder-length tangles of wavy copper hair. My skin is fair and freckled, and burns easily. My eyes change color drastically depending on the lighting. I'm wearing an old brown crewneck sweatshirt over a white collared shirt, jeans, and beat up black Converse.
Personality: I'm quiet and somewhat reclusive, and painfully socially anxious. (though I'm good at talking to people if I have a reason for talking to them. I just suck at small talk) I love reading and writing and nature and puzzles and adventure. I'm very logical and level-headed, even (especially) during emergencies, and I'm hard-working. I'm a perfectionist, and a bit of a people-pleaser, and also quite competitive. I don't get angry easily, but when I do, I get very angry. I'm very passionate about causes I believe in.
