@Celine, aww, that does sound so irritating :( Once I'd written out part of a story I was working on (on the computer), and then accidentally deleted it all, so I know how you feel.
Here are some of my favorite playlists:
/Country Music!!!!!\
~I'm Alright, by Jo Dee Messina
~Heads Carolina, Tails California, by Jo Dee Messina
~Country Girl, by Lisa Mchugh
~Why'd You Come In Here Lookin' Like That, by Dolly Parton
~16th Avenue, by Lacy J. Dalton (this one is soo good)
~Would You Go With Me, by Josh Turner
~Kerry County Fair, by Clodagh Lawlor
~Did She Mention My Name, by Gordon Lightfoot - this might count a bit more as folk, but I include it with country :)
~Any Martina McBride, but especially Valentine, Happy Girl, Ride, Wrong Baby Wrong Baby Wrong, etc.
~Down at the Twist and Shout, by Mary Chapin Carpenter
=Music from other cultures=
~Mai, by Giuliano Desideri (language: Italian)
~Soz Verdim, by Aysegul Coskun (Turkish)
~A la una yo nací, by Alalumbre Folk (Spanish, from Spain)
~Rayando el sol, by Maná (Spanish, from Mexico)
~A Risa, by Aurelio Fierro (Italian - this one is irrisistible, you just have to laugh when you hear it even if you don't understand Italian, which I don't)
~Lisboa nao sejas francesa, by Amalia Rodrigues (Portuguese)
~If you liked that one, there's also Cheira a Lisboa by the same singer (Portuguese again)
~El romance del Conde Olinos, by Alalumbre Folk (Spanish again ;) )
Be back later with more, but these are some of my present favorites

Promise I haven't forgotten about this! And I love all your recommendations Amethyst!! Haven't gotten down to the second half of your playlist yet, but listening to 16th Avenue right now, you're right, it's sooo good!! I think that one and Country Girl and Why'd You Come In Here Looking Like That are my favorites of them all if I had to choose though, really, they're all good!! And oc I already love love love Martina McBride and Jo Dee Messina, and Kerry County Fair!

Oh, and three more songs I'd probably add on to the second half (all in Spanish) are
~Bailando Bachata, by Chayenne
~Soy el Mismo, by Prince Royce
~Cuando Volveras, by Aventura (this one I consider a masterpiece :) )

Just finished listening to all these songs and... seriously, wow. Love every one. Literally cannot pick a favorite. Just making sure, if you know the lyrics to any of these songs, are they family friendly? Thank you so much for all these recommendations!!!
