A small rectangular box sits on the display shelf. Staring back at you from the dusty window.
Tick Tick Tick Tick.
The door chimes when you walk in, leaving it's airy tone ringing in your ears.
Stepping between the shelves lined with books, puzzles, and games. Your gaze is fixed on the box as you weave your way through the store.
Finally you make it to the display, and reach for the box.
It's wooden surface is smooth and polished. A half circle on the front of the box lined with numbers from 40 to 208. And a small, black dial laying at 58. Atop the box, sits a small, clear diamond light. Flashing with every
Tick.
The repetitive sound is mesmerizing, and practically sleep inducing.
Flipping the box over, you trace your finger over the black, inked words. On closer inspection, the words looked to be an address of some sort.
Tick Tick Tick Tick Tick
The Ticks get faster the longer you stare at the words.
Faster. Tick.
Faster. Tick Tick
Even faster. Tick Tick Tick.
Suddenly BEEP BEEP BEEP!
Your alarm clock yells at you, pulling from your dream. Looking around, you notice a small, rectangular box on your night stand.
Wide-eyed, you scramble from your bed in disbelief. At last you pick up the box. Inspecting every inch, you find a small piece of paper stuck to the bottom.
It reads simply "Come.". A dash, and then the name "Maestro". Plucking off the paper, you turn the box around to reveal the address from your dream.
Orchestra Hotel. Queens, New York City, New York.
A strong gust of wind blows through your open window, rustling the curtains. Switching your attention to the window, you shuffle over.
Looking out, a black and yellow chickadee dive bombs the sill. Reeling back as the sassy bird perches it's self. It chirps at you, dropping a yellowed piece of paper on the floor.
Picking it up and scanning it, you notice the signature is the same as the one on the box. On the paper is a form, and a paragraph inviting you to the Orchestra Hotel. The bird chirps again, ruffling it's feathers. Tied around it's neck is a small, black bow tie.
Smiling, you gently sit on your bed, pulling a pencil from your night-stand. You fill out the form, reading each question carefully. Once done, you shrug, handing the paper back.
Now satisfied with your choice, you lay back holding the box above you. Fiddling with it, your palm brushes a switch.
Tick Tick Tick.
As soon as the slow, methodical noise starts, you feel your eyelids get heavy. Giving in to temptation, you close your eyes.
And again, falling asleep.
Tick Tick Tick....

Pronouns : Genderfluid. I use they/them, he/him, and she/her most often, but I'll use any neopronouns (including it/its and nounselfs, but I only use nounselfs rarely) or no pronouns when I feel like it. Pronouns usually change on a day-to-day basis, so each day I use a new set, although sometimes I'll use the same ones multiple days in a row. I use nounselfs roughly once or twice a month, other neopronouns or no pronouns roughly one to three times a week, and they, he, and she equally the rest of the time. I know it's a lot to remember, so don't worry about it too much! I don't mind if you mess up a little as long as you do your best! No pressure :D

Appearance: (this will be written in third person as I've copy-pasted it from the doc where I keep my CBsona info) mostly human with short, spiky hair, dyed some bright color (I re-dye it often). Has moth antennae and black and white moth wings. Green eyes with a scar across the left one, lightly muscled, tall, tan skin. Multiple helix and mid-helix piercings. Usually wears shorts or sweatpants with a t-shirt and sometimes a sweatshirt, usually in gender neutral colors, sensible hiking/combat boot type shoes. Watch on left wrist and a number of friendship-type bracelets on the right. Often has wireless headphones around neck (covered in stickers) and likely to be wearing a beanie with some enamel pins on it.
Luggage: Computer (with stickers on it), drawing tablet (with stickers) and stylus, phone (you guessed it–stickers), drawing tablet (stickers!), multiple sketchbooks/sketch pads of varying sizes (stickers on the cover, again), art supplies (art pencils, colored pencils, art pens, paint, paintbrushes, markers) enamel pin collection, Nintendo switch, beanies, sharpies, a long coil of nylon rope (approved for rock climbing), along with an ATC (which is a device you use for belaying in rock climbing), black duct tape, extra stickers, snake care supplies.
How would you like to travel here/arrive? (ie: car/limo, bus, helicopter, horse): Riding a giant dragonfly.
Please describe the room you want to stay in ( AEs get seperate rooms than you, make sure to describe theirs aswell.): Anything works, but I like spacious rooms with lots of windows, plenty of electrical outlets, and AC and heating.
Do you play and instrument?: I do. I play percussion as well as the kazoo. I can play almost any percussion instrument but my favorites and the ones I play best are the cajon and a full drum set (including a snare, floor tom, high and low rack toms, bass/kick, hi-hat, and a good selection of cymbals). I also do a little bit of music production (which is where you use a DAW (digital audio workstation) such as Soundtrap, GarageBand, or Pro Tools to assemble different music parts (such as drums, guitar, or vocals) together into one song. The DAW also allows you to edit and add affects to different parts).
Cullinary allergies or aversions: None. I'll eat almost anything
Favorite music genre: Pop. I like AJR, Imagine Dragons, Alec Benjamin, the Hamilton Soundtrack. Taylor Swift is okay too. I hate Harry Styles's music.
Do you have the key?: Of course I do! Are you implying that I don't? I find that highly offensive! I always have the key, whether you're talking a literal key or a musical key or something else. Now, let me find it... *looks through pockets* It's here somewhere... *looks through more pockets* Hmm... I must have misplaced it, but I definetely have it. Uh-huh. Definetely. Totally. Completely. Definetely not lying...
Personality: Kind of like a combination of your inner college student and inner toddler. I'm feircely independent and I love both logic and illogic. I'm confident to a fault, I'm outgoing, and I don't mind if I seem ridicoulous, wacky, or weird to anybody else because I consider those to be compliments.
Other: I'll be bringing my pet corn snake, Fluffles. He's bright (but not neon) orange and wears a cornflower blue bandana with white stars on it. He uses he/him pronouns.

Also, I'd like to add that I'll be bringing 15 pounds of birdseed (3 5-pound bags--or maybe 5 3-pound bags, I can't quite remember which) and 5 birdfeeders (the kind that suction to the outside of a window), along with a hummingbird feeder (which also suctions to a window, and I don't need to bring nectar for it since I can make it with supplies in the kitchen).
Also, to add to what I'd like my room to look like - I'd like it to be on the highest floor possible and have plenty of nooks and perches for reading or drawing or just doing whatever I want. I'd appreaciate it if it had a loft too, and I'd like my bed to be up there.
