this is a thread to talk about all your favorite musicals you've seen or been in. my favorite ones that i've seen are newsies, west side story, and something rotten, but i love pretty much all musicals. i've been in one musical, which is newsies jr., and it was awesome! i was in a play (puffs) too, which was also fun, but i think my favorite is still newsies jr.

Last night was closing night for You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown in which I had my first big role (Wizard of Oz doesn't count; no singing, and online) with actual singing lines!! I was Peppermint Patty, so my friend, Lee, gave me yorks. I (jokingly) said that it's cannibalism for me to eat them. 

But the other musical I'm in is Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Hate the director. 

Hmm... My favorite I've been in? Probably Charlie Brown. It was the most fun. Ones I've been in: the ones I've said above (the names are long; don't wanna write 'em), Wizard of Oz (as Oz), all-Hebrew Shrek (Mirror), Descendants (Belle), Once Upon a Mattress (as a maid person, would love to do it again, maybe get Fred! Though AKP would get her is we do it next year and she does the play... ugh), and this play that has something to do with time-travel (it's not like a published play, it was a cub play at my theater camp so they only write it for that), and some Purim Spiels. 

okay its late and im tired after 3 consectutive shows (and a yummy cast party) so bye

Yayy! I love musicals. Right now I'm in Matilda JR and it's so fun. The problem is our rehearsals keep getting canceled because of sickness and snow so now we're way behind... last night we did a rehearsal on zoom instead so at least we can still try and practice. Also tech week is in TWO WEEKS and we've barely started learning act two :0
