Sorry @Luna Silvermoon, first thanksgiving break and now school started and I have so. much. stuff. piling up and pretty much no time to do any of it aaaaaah *stress*, so I might not get to it for another few days, but I SWEAR I'LL TRY AND I'M really really REALLY SORRYYYYYYY

Silhouetted against the full blood moon is a young witch with a flapping cloak. She’s young and pretty, in a fierce sort of way, with straight blue hair as royal as a depthless afternoon sky and blue eyes as brilliant as sapphires. She’s tall, but elegantly so, willowy and agile. The sky is ebony-midnight, nearly black, but fathomless as an abyss. The stars shine like perfect pearls, blinking in and out of sight as if bashful.
She’s wearing a plain black jerkin with gray flowing pants and long black leather boots that extend up to her knees. Her shirt is decorated with a giant spider stretching from shoulders to hips in a terrifying pose. Her black cloak flaps out behind her, lifting her up and hovering her into the air like a friendly giant’s hand. The cloak gazes out onto the close-minded mortal settlements far below and thanks the sparkling stars shimmering overhead that they are here, the witch and the cloak, magically engulfed in the night air. They are—
Flying.
Powerful. For isn’t that what a witch is? Not cruel, necessarily, or mean, or old, even when witches scare people. Even when they’re written down into history as the killers—the evil ones. Even when they’re sent to burn at stake for crimes they might never have committed. No, witches are fearsome. Awe-inspiring.
At least—this one certainly is.
