It's the middle of summer, and you're draped languorously on your couch, a thick book in your hands and a cool glass of lemonade within reach. A small fan whirs, a pathetic rival to the unrelenting heat. Your window is open, although it doesn't make much difference, for the air outside is still and humid.
Suddenly, you hear the symphonious tinkling of wind chimes. You couldn't remember ever hearing wind chimes around your house before, but this isn't a huge source of concern. The biggest thing interesting you is the cream-colored envelope that has fluttered in from the window and onto your living room floor.
You set your book down, and pick up the envelope, turning it over in your hands. On the front, in neat black ink, it spelled out your name. Odd. You slit the top of the envelope, and withdraw two pieces of parchment and a small, pressed purple flower - you aren't quite sure, but you think it's an aster. You pick up the first piece of parchment and read,
Dear CBer,
You are invited on an all-expenses paid vacation at Lockaria House, located within the Osorthe Forest. While there, you will experience a fortnight of fun, adventure, excitement, and, quite possibly, danger. Sign up quickly, only sixteen guests are allowed. This includes any AE companions you may choose to bring. We will begin when spots are filled.

Appearance: I am slightly taller than average and slender, with a fairly feminine appearance. Wavy copper hair reaches just past my shoulder blades. I have tanned skin and freckles, and a straight nose slightly tipped at the end. My eyes can subtly change color, merging from one color to the next over the course of a few days. For this I will be wearing a black long-sleeved ribbed top, rust-colored corduroy pants, and black high top converse.
Personality: I am thoughtful, logical, and quiet, and a self-declared nerd. I am socially awkward, weird, and, admittedly, a bit eccentric. I am an outcast, and am often alone, but rarely lonely. I am often found daydreaming about going on an adventure, writing, drawing, reading, or spending way too much time on school assignments. Appearance: Hm... well normally I go with my real appearance, but... I think I wanna craft a CB one (mostly based off of my real one but with a few ideal changes:)
VERY thick & fluffy dark brown hair, that if it were straight it would reach just past my shoulders, but since it's more puffy-ish it reaches mid-neck. It has an abundance of light lavender streaks in it (almost as much lavender as there is brown) so it's like a mixture of both colors. Dark green eyes with long, thick eyelashes. Lots of freckles on fair skin. Tallish (lol i wish irl) and neither thick nor thin. When the weather is warm, wears jean shorts and a black top. When the weather is cold, wears soft pastel sweaters and jeans. When she just can't be bothered with life today, she wears T-shirts and leggings. No matter the weather, she wears white Crocs with doodles on them.
Personality: Well she can be arrogant, selfish and braggy but is actually very insecure. Has tons of anxiety. Is sometimes good at drawing, writing and singing. Wants to but has never cosplayed, acted and sewed. LOVES languages: Is currently learning Japanese and it is the hardest she's ever worked at anything in her life. Her goal is to never not be learning a language. After she gets a handle on Japanese (which is HARD bro you have no idea) she plans to start learning ASL. Other languages she wants to learn are Irish, Chinese and Arabic. She contemplates the universe all the time, but it gives her anxiety. Sometimes, she acts ABSOLUTELY CRAZY SILLY GOOFY NONSENSICAL ENERGY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.
