No one probably knows what these are, so I'll give an explaination. Animatics are basicly a rough draft of animation, made with storyboards all synced together with acurette *oof XD* time. Usually they are EXTREAMLY rough, but sometimes people who can't/don't animate clean their animatics up nicely, or when the animation needs to be really smooth it's cleaner.

Anyway, I LOVE THESE :D They're so interesting to look at, plus I'm a bit of an animation nerd, so. I've been watching Hamilton and PJO stuff a lot lately, but I know that there are 2 Steven Universe animatics you can just WATCH ("True Kinda Love" & "Other Friends")

But, yeah, I'm pretty estatic about this kinda stuff XD So, uh, go ahead and ask questions, or maybe try your hand at storyboarding an idea, or whatever!

Hi Writing!!

I've never animated a THING in my life but I want to SO MUCH.  What software do you use?  Do you do the drawings for it digitally or on paper?

While I'm not exactly interested in animation (although that would be very very very cool and I do wish I get a chance to animate something at some point in my life), I love making short films and we sometimes make storyboards which is basically the same thing. 

It's super cool that you're into animatics!

I don't do animatics but I do like doing small animations. I use Procreate, you have to pay a bit but it's worth it :D

It has an Animation tool so you can do it right there on the app, then export it into a GIF.

Sadly it's for Apple users only :')
