How To Art Thread!!!

So there was a similar thread I believe a little bit ago, but I also believe said thread has died, so here is this one.

Here, you post your art and how you did it.  You can draw inspiration from others' works, post your explanations of how to draw in your favorite art style, techniques and helpful tips you've learned, and ask for advice and ideas from your peers.  Basically, in this thread you share and gain knowledge about art. 

Oh, and a few things:

a.) Don't critique someone's artwork unless they request it.

b.)  Be kind to other people and yourself.

c.) Compliments should be genuine- I hate not being able to trust if people are telling the truth or not.

d.) Don't put yourself or your artwork down for the sake of humility.  It's okay to be proud of yourself!

e.) Have fun!

Wouldn't mind some feedback on this drawing. I want some positives and negatives about it!

This is genuinely gonna be hard to critique, it's really good! Well, positives are that the shading is great, the little animals (they're Vaporeon, right?) are adorable, and I love the style.

Maybe something I would change is make the highlights on the red/orange one a little bit brighter, or the yellow one's a little duller, because the yellow one is farther from the sun, but it looks great as it is.

I agree, that looks great! I especially like the brown one (are they Evee evolutions?), it looks super soft and cuddly. The really solid shading underneath them makes them look kind of 2d though, so maybe blend the shadow more?

I have a question: how did you get the sparkly sunshine up in the corner? I am always trying to figure out how to do that! And what did you draw this on?
