You open the mailbox, expecting to find the usual- bills, to be ignored, advertisements, to immediately throw away, some sort of catalog, to flip through and then throw away as well. But instead of these all you see is a single enveloped letter. You quickly grab it. Maybe it’s from a relative, or the old pen pal you had almost forgotten about. The address, written in elegant script with golden ink, tells a different story. You open it and unfurl a crisply folded sheet of paper, which reads-
Dear Friend,
You are cordially invited to five days’ stay at the lovely Vertumnus Manor. Consider yourself lucky- you are one of only 10 guests who will attend. Whether you are in need of relaxation or adventure, the manor will greet you. The Vertumnus Manor is located in the gorgeous Eponine Mountains* surrounded by gardens and miles of trails for hiking or horseback riding. It boasts a spectacular library and ballroom that will certainly entice you. Your stay will be luxurious and enjoyable, and at the end of the week there will be a midnight masquerade ball. If you would like to accept this generous offer** fill out the following form-

You stare at the letter for a moment, and then complete the form and sign your name. When you do, the envelope opens of its own accord and pulls you into it, enveloping you into a kaleidoscope of color.

Personality: I'm generally very kind and understanding, and highly in tune to the emotions of people around me. I'm a creative person. It takes a lot to make me mad, but once I am I'm steaming. My athletic skills are practically nonexistent. I forget very quickly things that don't interest me.

Personality: Weird, to say the least. Creative and expressive. Can be a bit mischivius. Sensitive and emotional, but can be stoic and withdrawn if needed. Usually can put up a smile even on my darkest days. Pretty smart, a "unique thinker", loves riddles and codes. Can and will make a story/drawing based on anything, at any time.
Apperance: Light olive skin, black hair that goes down to the chin (long enough to be put in a small ponytail), dark black eyes, androgynous build, black tee-shirt with a green alien pattern, blue jeans, red converse and colorfully patterned socks

Appearance: white, tanned skin, blue eyes, short hair in a curtain haircut dyed dark red, 5 ft. i usually wear baggy cargo pants, doc martens, and big graphic tees. i like to wear lots of rings too.
Personality: constantly over-analyzing everything. i store every piece of information i find without realizing it. i like to think of my mind as a web of information. i'm good at reading people. i find the human mind fascinating, but people do tire me out. in new and scary situations i can be cold and overly-critical. once i warm up i'm back to normal. i usually follow my intuition, but i don't jump blindly into things. i prefer to have a loose plan for everything.

Personality: confusing, but also really smart. observant, but also stubborn, good at fighting but quiet. speaks in riddles or formal-talk sometimes.
Appearance: pretty silver hair up to waist, with black wolf ears and a black t-shirt, along with a black coat with golden linings and golden chains, then we have my jean shorts with a sort of emo belt with chains on it. i have white eyes and also have boots. oh, and a cap. black.
