SINGING!!!!!! Does anyone love to sing? I'm in my school's choir which only has 20+ people because I go to a Catholic school. Anyway we only sing at school masses which are once a month. But today we sang at mass and did this song called The Song For World Peace. We did really awesome and it sounded really great. We had people singing the melody, alto, and descant. I did the descant and it was so fun. After we finished the song the priest, Father Carlos, said how great we were and got everyone to applaud which isn't supposed to be done at a Catholic mass. It was great! And my choir teacher, Mrs. Stone, is the best and she was so happy!

I LOVE to sing!!! I don't take voice lessons or anything, but I joined the choir at my school! We have a concert tomorrow!! Exciting that there are so many singers on the CB!

I LOVE TO SING!! I sing in a youth honor choir that is lots of fun. I always sing in the shower. No matter how weird it seems to people, it's a lot of fun. And I can't believe I just said that, but it is true. Right now we have started Christmas songs. There is one called December's Keep. It's amazing! I sing Alto, which is really fun. I like doing all the harmony!

Ugh, I love singing, but I don't think I'm very good at it. I sing constantly around my house, ONLY around my family. One time, I was singing in the car and my mom looks at me, and says, "You can sing, girl." *blushes* I didn't sing anymore after that. :) But I still love to sing, I just can't do it infront of anyone else besides my family.

Have you tried a choir? It's fun because you are all supporting one another, and it sounds like one voice. no one says you have to sing solo!

I adore singing!
From 1st to 3rd grade, I was in my church choir. Then, in 3rd grade, I moved. When my family finally decided on which church to go to, I joined its choir, but when I was in 5th grade, we decided we didn't really feel at home at the church and we changed churches again. We love our new church, but the only choir is from K-5th grade, and although I was young enough for it at the time, the songs were so simple that it wasn't any fun! I wasn't in it.
Later on that year, I joined the 5th Grade Honor Choir for our school district. I really enjoyed it, but it was just for 5th grade.
I'm in middle school now, though, and it has a choir, which I'm in. We're currently practicing 2 songs: 'Winter Dream' and 'Why Can't Every Day Be Christmas?' We'll sing them at a concert in December. WCEDBC has a solo in it, and I'm auditioning for it. I really hope I get the part!
Actually, it might not be a solo. Our director/teacher might make it into a duet or trio. She hasn't decided yet. Either way, I hope I'm chosen to sing it!

I love singing too. I'm ultra involved with the chorus program at my school, where I'm in the Advanced Choir and Show Choir.

I love singing too! I am one of five baritones in the seventh and eighth grade choir (yes, you heard that right, BARITONE).
Unfortunately I am very disappointed with almost the entire 7th grade chorus. If you took the best member of each section--soprano, alto, tenor, and bass--and organized them into a vocal quartet, it is my belief that the quartet would sing more strongly and louder than the entire rest of the chorus. I also wish that we would organize an elite quartet because the best of the sections are two of my best friends (soprano and alto) and one of my good friends (tenor--obviously I sing bass now)...
