I wasn't sure where to put this but HeRe I am! Books/movies/TV shows are art, after all.
This is a place for fangirls/boys/women/men/others/semi-demonic oranges (or, ya know, i could just say "fangirls" because that is generally considered a gender/age/species neutral term, at least as a verb) to talk about our fandoms!
We can argue over ships and characters, talk about what we did/didn't like in different things, make lists of fandoms, dump random thoughts about them here, etc.!

Yes, for sure! I absolutely love The Emperor of Nihon-Ja, for one because of the role the girls played (and the engagement at the end, I was like yusssssss), but also because of the ingenuity, and the nicknames. For Brotherband, I listened to most of the books, so for the descriptions, I just kinda sat there not paying attention.

Ahh, Fictional Character Crushes, yeah okee dokee lets name mine then:
A big crush on Catra(She-Ra)
A tiny crush on Bow (She-Ra)
I don't know about Double Trouble... Maybe, Maybe not
and probably many more embarassing ones.

Yay fandoms! I'm not in a ton of them, but there are some things I love to no end.
Ranger's Apprentice: I've found my people!! This is my favorite series of all time, my dad introduced me when I was little and I've loved them ever since. They're absolutely my comfort books. I'm a little disappointed in the Royal Ranger (I'm about halfway through The Missing Prince and, like Kitten said, it's pretty much Sorcerer of the North), but I love Brotherband and The Early Years. My favorite book in the series is Emperor of Nihon-Ja, probably because of how awesome Evanlyn and Alyss were, and I love Shigeru's character with more focus on Horace. It's closely followed by Erak's Ransom, because I love the Skandians so much. I think part of the reason I'm not liking the new books as much is because it feels like he's putting a little too much emphasis on worldbuilding. In the originals, the way he expanded the world felt interesting and effortless. My favorite characters have to be Gilan, Svengal, and Alyss.
Harry Potter: I'm not a fan of J.K. Rowling, but this series is too close to my heart for me not to love it. I literally grew up reading Harry Potter, and I've read it more times than I can count. I love the story and the characters, and Hogwarts has always felt like home. My favorite book is Order of the Phoenix. When I was little, I think my favorite character was Hermione, but now it's definitely Ginny. She's so awesome and the movies did her no justice. Also McGonagall is incredible. I haven't read the books in a while, but I've recently been listening to this really great podcast about it, where this guy who's never read the books goes through the series and pretty much makes fun of it (he ends up loving the books, but it's still really funny). Also, I'm a Hufflepuff!! I don't know if anyone's seen of heard of it, but there's this hysterical off-Broadway show called Puffs, it's a Harry Potter parody show about Hufflepuff. I saw it for my birthday a few years ago, it's incredible.
Percy Jackson: This series was the beginning of my childhood Greek mythology obsession, which I'm pretty sure was a common experience. I love everything about it--the funny narration, the awesome and relatable characters, the story, the writing, and the diversity in later books. I struggle to pick a favorite character, but Leo's definitely up there. Percy, obviously, and Annabeth. I feel like there's someone I'm forgetting, but I'll think of it as soon as I hit submit XD. I can't pick a favorite book, either, they're all so good. I'd have to say The Last Olympian or Battle of the Labyrinth for PJO, and probably Mark of Athena for HOO. As for the other series, I really love Kane Chronicles and Magnus Chase (which I've been meaning to reread). I didn't think I was going to like Trials of Apollo, but it was so good! The ending made me cry.
Artemis Fowl: Another one of my favorite series! This one isn't as much of a fandom, but I love these books so much. They're incredibly well-written, I love the characters, and I love the world. I can't pick a favorite out of the series, they're all so good. I love Artemis's character arc and how his relationships with the characters and the fairies change over time. My favorite characters are definitely Mulch, Foaly, and Butler. I also love the lines of gnommish at the bottom of the pages--I used to pretend to read them when I was little, and I taught myself to read gnommish in fifth grade, so now I can actually read them. I got the first book in his new series (I think it's going to be a series?), The Fowl Twins, and it was pretty good! I'm interested to see where it goes, although I miss having Artemis around. I'm not going to talk about the Artemis Fowl movie, because then we'd be here all day. It made me so angry, they pretty much ruined everything wonderful about the books.
Septimus Heap: Also not as much of a fandom, but this series is incredible. The intricate worldbuilding and compelling characters are so wonderful, and it's so well-written. All of the settings and descriptions are so vivid, and the characters are all so unique. I can't choose a favorite book, but Magyk and Darke are up there. I remember my favorite when I was younger was Syren. I have a lot of favorite characters, in no particular order--Beetle, Aunt Zelda, Marcia, Alther, Wolf Boy, Nicko, Stanley (I regret not naming one of my rats Stanley XD), and Simon in the later books. If you haven't read Septimus Heap and you like fantasy, I would absolutely recommend it.
Averno: My most recent fandom! I actually found it through NaNoWriMo--the creator, Morgan, did a social media takeover during Camp NaNo. I discovered Averno then, but really got into it when Willow came out. It was literally the only thing I listened to for like two months, it's so good. Willow is my comfort music. I started learning more about the world and the town, mainly through reading the Averno bible. I listened to Live From Averno, the podcast (it's so good, and they left it on a cliffhanger I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS AAAA), and watched Under Averno, which was pretty good. I didn't love Dazed, which was released for the ARG (I didn't participate in it, but it sounded fun), but I've been obsessed with Over and Out ever since it was released. It's so sweet and cute and it has a happy ending!! I love Nova and Solar. My favorite song from Willow is the opening song, "Sweet Willow", but I also love "Twister". My favorite song from Over and Out is "If You See Me", closely followed by "Nova Phone Home", "Cryptid Hunt" (such a bop), and "Ketchup".
Wow, I'm so sorry Admins, that was wayyy more than I intended to write XD. If you read through all that, thanks for listening to me ramble about things I love!
No worries! I love the Artemis Fowl books, too :) --admin

I love Percy Jackson, Harry Potter (another Hufflepuff here!) and Averno too!! Is the podcast you were talking about Potterless? I love that one (it has some cursing but is otherwise appropriate, Admin)
(February 6, 2021 - 1:25 pm)
Yay Puff buddies! And yes, I was talking about Potterless! I didn't know if anyone else would have listened to it. My cousin recommended it to me a few months ago, it's so funny! I just finished the last episode about the books.
(February 7, 2021 - 2:32 pm)
Ah, that's so cool! I'm on the last episode of the 5th book.
(February 7, 2021 - 5:18 pm)
I love Artemis Fowl too! Or I did when I first read them. As I've grown older and looked back on them, I've started to notice more of the things that annoy me about them, as tends to happen with me when I get older and look back on books. Mostly it's just the time travel in the last few books that I disliked. The first one is almost definitely my favorite, but I also loved The Infinity Cube. I haven't even seen the movie, but I've seen enough talk about it to know that it's absolutely horrible and I have no inclination whatsoever to watch it.
I remember reading Septimus Heap in 6th grade and loving it, but alas I cannot remember anything about it anymore.
Nova and Solar are so freaking cute!! I literally read the names of the songs that you posted and started bopping along to them in my chair.
If you see me you'll stop seeing me in the way I want you to / things are safer from a distance when you're trying something new / and I know for sure that you have lots of better things to do / than get to knoooow me (get to know me)
Um. Anyway. I discovered Averno from the CB, quite possibly you, actually, and it was one of the best discoveries of my life. I love all of their music, even Dazed, which was, well, painful, especially since I also did the ARG and I just... Kennedy... Clover... Echo...
(February 6, 2021 - 2:50 pm)
I'm not really in many fandoms but here are my 2:
Wings of Fire! The messages are so sweet and the characters are AMAZING and so well developed and I love literally all of them and ahhhhhh- I'm rereading all of the books as audiobooks in preparation for the next book to come out (AHHH I'M SO EXCITED) and they're SO GOOD. I'm on Peril's book right now and she's so funnyyyyy
AVERNO AVERNO AVERNO hehehe a bunch of other people have mentioned this and it's so good! My obsession started with Quill mentioning Willow (thank you btw) and I have become a total fangirl. I don't listen Willow a ton anymore but it used to be literally all I listened to and it's still my comfort music. Right now I really really love Over and Out (actually listening to it right now haha) especially Cryptid Hunt and The Alien All Along. Also Live From Averno was AMAZING and I need another episode because it ENDED ON A CLIFFHANGER >:( I think I'll stop there but I could rant for hours XD

1. All of the Rick Riordan books! I've been reading and re-reading these for years, and I love them so much. My favorite series is probably the Heroes of Olympus, but they're all amazing. I feel like more people should read the Kane Chronicles, though. Those books are really underrated.
2. Wings of Fire! I love dragons, so this series is one of my favorites. My favorite characters are Moonwatcher, Kinkajou, and Cricket. I'm actually not awful at drawing dragons, and I have a bunch of little drawing that I did of WoF characters. I should post those!
3. City of Ghosts! These books aren't very well known, but I think they're super good! The City of Ghosts series is a trilogy about 12-year-old Cassidy, who can see ghosts. The last book in the series is coming out in March this year!
4. Harry Potter! I've loved the Harry Potter books for years! My favorite characters are Hermione and Luna. I have about a million Harry Potter themed socks, and I actually wear them quite often.
I think that's about it, but I may come back later with some other ones I'd forgotten!

Okie dokes, I am surprised that I haven't posted on here yet, but I shall now. Expect randomness on here in the days to come. ;) (that sounded oddly . . . elegant.)
Percy Jackson - I love this book series so much, and Rick Riordan is my favorite author. I especially liked the third series, particularly due to the main character's character development, and I think the author just improved in general! I love the hilarious-ness, the awesome characters, plus the mythology, although ironically my Greek Mythology phase and my Percy Jackson phase(s) were seperate. I am also ObsEsSeD with the musical. It's, like, ACCURATE (mostly) and has great casting and music! My favorite character is Nico di Angelo.
Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard - I've got to say, I probably like this series even more than I do Percy Jackson. I rant a lot about how out of it, Percy Jackson, and Kane Chronicles, (the others are getting, hopefully MUCH better movies, come on) it has the least content. XD My favorite character typically alternates between Jack, Hearth, and Alex, but I don't know which it is now. Be glad that you are not currently having to experience my super-extra-obsessed-with-MCGA phase.
Avatar: The Last Airbender - AHH this show is so good, I honestly don't have much to complain about it. It's also super popular, so ThAt'S nIcE. I can't choose a favorite there are literally so many good ones. Funilly enough, if you search something ike "shows to whatch if you are an ATLA fan" the other TV shows that I am obsessed with will be some of the first things to come up. I have rewatched the entire thing mutipe times XD. Bending is sO cOoL.
Legends of Korra - The spin-off series to ATLA, of course! I probaby won't have much to say about it because most of it has been said above, heh. My favorite season is the third. Bolin and Pabu are probably my favorite characters.
She-Ra and the Princesses of Power - A show which I am glad to hear other people on here enjoy as well! I don't know any other fans of it irl, especially considering my sister dislikes it. My favorite is either Entrapta, Doube Trouble, or Scorpia, maybe in that order. It's just an a-around good show, athough I can't think of a particuary good aspect of it.
Votron: Legendary Defender - I am not sure if anyone ese on here has whatched it, but I am a big fan. My sister convinced my friend to whatch it by sending her a picture of a cow with people riding it flying through an alien mall, and she is now obsessed. There were some . . . less-than-stellar plot decisions made, i.e. the lion switcharoo and the ending, but I still love it. My favorite thing about it has to be the characters and there interactions, plus the world is cool. My favorite character is a tie between Pidge, Lance, Keith, and Shiro.
The Dragon Prince - AHH WAITING FOR THE FOURTH SEASON OF THE SHOW IS KILLING ME. From the art to the wordbuiding to the plot, this show is aMaZiNg. The characters are very realistic but I can't choose a favorite, like with ATLA. There is good minority rep, so that's nice. I have read one out of three of the books about it, and am panning to read the other two. If you are whatching it and not watching the credit artsm start whatching teh credit arts. They are full of jokes from the episode, clues to later episodes, hints to what characters we aren't seeinga re doing, and more. And Bait. Lots of Bait.
As for ships . . . well, I guess you could say I'm a "strict" shipper. For one thing, I never ship non-cannon ships as a general rule, and usually strongly dislike them. There are also many very popular ships I dislike including, but not limited to: Percabeth, Blitzstone, Kataang, Catradora, Klance, and Raylum. I just . . . don't like them. It's really a matter of opinion. Even my favorite ships I admit are not perfect. Some of my ships (probably almost all of them lol) are Solangelo (my OTP), Frazel, Jacktide, Fierrochase, Maiko, Kainora, Zhurrick, Ruthari, Lujanne x Allen (because RANDOMNESS), and maybe Lancura, I haven't decided. Okay, maybe that seems like a lot but that's basically it.
I am currently watching My Hero Academia so that is what has been on my mind lately. I don't like it as much as the other shows, though, and idk if it will ever become one of my "fandoms."
Sorry that got so long . . . heh.
(February 6, 2021 - 8:45 pm)
Hmmm. I am really weird in that I don't even have many fandoms.
Harry potter: Do I have to explain? Great characters, great plots, great action, great writing.
Wings of fire: Really good as well. Would reccomend it.
Percy jackson: I know absolutely nothing about this series. I read the first two books, and I probably should finish the series.
Artemis fowl: Same as above. Only read first two.
Yeah, I guess that's it. I read too many comics instead of books and all the tv shows I watch there are no fandoms for.
(February 7, 2021 - 6:04 am)
My fandoms:
1. Avatar: Last Airbender/Legends of Korra/The Kyoshi Novels/Anything else in the Avatar universe.
2. The Dragon Prince
3. Star Wars

Okay, I have decided to start considering My Hero Academia as one of my "fandoms" even though I don't like it as much. My favorite character is Denki Kaminari then Tomika Amijiki then Tenya Iida.
*pops in from around the coren* Oi, mate! I'm an Earthblood elf!
I am currently (well, technically a few minutes ago, that's when I was cutting out fake leaves) making an Elf Callum costume. I suppose it, and all the other costumes of fictional characters I have made, are technically "cosplays" but it always feels wrong to call them that because they typically are not very good and I spend 0 dollars and a few hours on them. XD Anyways, my twin sister is going as Human Rayla, so that'll be fun!
In the past I have gone as: Esca (my sister was Desna), Alex Fierro, Ty Lee, Fluffy from Harry Potter (it was actually three poeple in one costume), and probably more.
What cosplays have y'all mates done?
