I hear the odd creaking of an old house, and whispers as the people around me start to discuss in hushed voices what's going on. I turn to the person nearest me and, speaking softly as it seems to be the thing to do, ask their name.

Good. Now, what d- yo-...

*Faintly, a radio beings to play. The sound is distant and is frequently contested by static, but still recognizable - Debussey's Clair De Lune. What do you feel?*
(January 28, 2021 - 7:37 pm)
Strangely calm. The song is beautiful, even if marred by static. Physically, I feel a little warm, possibly due to my proximity to a candle.
(January 28, 2021 - 9:23 pm)
I feel peaceful, but a little bit nervous, for the path ahead of me is one that is unknown.
(January 29, 2021 - 10:14 am)
I feel unnerved. Physically, I feel warm and a bit light-headed.
(January 29, 2021 - 3:12 pm)
I hear the sound of my companions quietly whispering. I feel the warmth from the candle, and this room is very humid. My skin feels sticky. I realize that I am barefoot, and the ground below me feels warm and wet.
That is what I literally feel.
On the inside, I feel an overwhelming amount of emotions. I feel frightened, but curious and excited at the same time. Most of all, I feel confused. What am I doing here? I signed up for this, but why?
(January 28, 2021 - 8:48 pm)
I feel a slight chill, as if a breeze has made it way through the cracks between the doors. I wrap my cloak closer around my body, both for warmth and for security. The radio creeps me out a little bit. It's a perfectly lovely song, but I don't know where it's coming from, and I'm getting a creeping feeling that something is definitively wrong here.
(January 29, 2021 - 3:05 pm)
*Someone is humming along with the music.*
...
*Is that water on the ground, or blood? It's too dark to be certain. Where's it coming from?*
(January 29, 2021 - 3:40 pm)
I'm completely terrified and disoriented. What happened to the announcement? The gold statue? Who's humming? I'm frozen in place and I don't try to identify the liquid.
(January 31, 2021 - 12:27 am)
I carefully step over the moat of crimson liquid that is forming, and examine the pipes from which its coming. They're old, covered in dust. I brush some of it away with my sleeve and see that the pipes are made from a confusing medley of brass and silver.
(January 31, 2021 - 11:07 am)
I take a few steps in each direction, trying to look around the whole room. As I take a step to the left, I feel my apparently bare toes touch something wet and ... sticky. I bend down, and let out a small yelp when I realize what the liquid is. Blood. The people around me notice as well, and we all start looking for the source. I reach a wall with some pipes sticking out and realize that they are leaking. Not water. More blood.
(January 30, 2021 - 4:21 pm)
I wrap my cloak tighter around me and shrink back into the shadows. I don't know where the blood is coming from, and I don't want to. I just hope I'm dreaming.

*The radio static begins to slowly overtake Clair De Lune like the moon being obscured by clouds. Soon that is all that is left, and the white noise plays for a few minutes before it is cut short by the sound of a wire snapping. The humming stopped long ago. All you can hear is the sputtering of the candles and the slow dripping of blood from the pipes.*
*Without cause, the candle flames shrink and disappear peacefully, leaving only trails of smoke towering above their wicks. The only aid to your vision is the faint, ambient glow coming from nowhere in particular. The smoke begins to curl around the stalactites above. Was that the sound of rocks chipping, or is it just your imagination?*
(January 31, 2021 - 3:09 pm)
I search the ceiling for an explanation. The rocks begin to crumble, and I see a hint of light through a crack. A stalactite falls, nearly missing me.
(February 1, 2021 - 5:31 pm)
I grip my dagger even tighter.
I'm terrified, but I won't let it show. Last time I slipped up someone got hurt.
I take a deep breath and hear sounds from the stalactites above.
I turn to talk to the others, to ask them if they know what is going on.... but then the ceiling starts to crumble, and I run towards the dim light.
