It's pouring outside.
It's pouring outside. Rain spatters down on your yellow slicker, wet enough without you splashing through the puddles that dot the sidewalk. But, you think to yourself, wouldn't sidestepping around them take more time? You stop your pursuit of your house to think about this. But you come up with no answer, and end up getting more soaked by standing there. Finally, you reach the porch. Fumbling to insert the key, you spot a flash of red behind you and hear footsteps. Swiveling around, you see nothing, and open the door. Weird. 15 minutes later, you are toweled off and preparing to attack your Croatian homework. You crack open the laptop that sits on your desk, and jump back when a cream-colored envelope flutters out. You nervously look around, and pick up the envelope. You turn it over. A red, fancy sticker holds it in place. Peeling the sticker off, you pull out the two pieces of paper. You start with the first.

Oh, I'm so sorry, I haven't posted anything on here! I'll do my best to participate, but also, everyone, part of the fun of ski lodges is trying to solve the mystery, so instead of commenting on the Manager's writing (although it is amazing) we should try to figure out who the murderer is, even if no one is dead quite yet.
Luminescence, DoodleGirl, Hawthorne, Darkling, Luminara, Quill, Mistia, Jade, Moonlight, me, Hollyshock, and Agent Winter are the people who brought writing utenstils of some sort, so we are the most likely murderers since the murderer was writing on their hand. But Hawthorne and Jade only brought pencils, which are harder to write on hands with. I'm going to assume that when Mistia said "writing utensils," that included pens, so I won't rule her out. And Luminara has a book with her, and writing on the endpapers would be easier than writing on her hand, so I'll put her on my list of less likely suspects. Of course, I can't rule out thievery, but until we have more clues, this is the best I can do.
Likely Suspects:
Luminescence, DoodleGirl, Darkling, Quill, Mistia, Moonlight, me, Hollyshock, and Agent Winter.
Not Quite as Likely But Still Possible Suspects:
Hawthorne, Jade, and Luminara.
Well, that didn't rule much out, but it's better than nothing. @Manager, can you tell us what we are allergic to?
