The original art posting page is a few years old and has, you know, a few THOUSAND comments, so I though to keep things more organized we may like another page! Not that you can’t post on the original, feel free to post on both, but I would just love to see your pictures without having to dig through a lot of other comment (see: a few thousand) LoL

Okay, this is the third time this has happened in recent memory. Please do not start a new art thread. I understand why you want to start a new thread, but for many older CBers, myself included, the art thread is a crucial piece of CB history. I mean, you can see posts from CBers that even some of the oldest of us have never met on the art thread! It feels kind of cool to still be posting on such an old thread, you know? Also, if you want to see the most recent posts on the art thread, all you have to do is press the "last" button where it shows the thread's page numbers. I hope I didn't come across as rude here! I just kind of would like for people to keep posting on the old thread.

I understand what you're saying, AW, but I think it's OK to have a new thread, too, and to let each person decide which thread to choose.

But what’s the point of having two threads? I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be rude, but I don’t really see the point of having two threads when we can easily continue the old art posting thread, which has a lot of memories and nostalgia attached and has been THE art posting thread for ages. It’s not hard to get to the last page of the real art thread or anything. I just feel like it’s sort of disrespectful, not to mention unnecessary to have a new art posting thread.

I feel like it's quite easy to navigate, since we have specific pages on the bottom and all. I agree with Win that it seems cooler to be posting on such an old thread. I haven't been here that long, only since last year I think, but I still have memories on the first Art Posting thread. Personally, I don't really understand why a second should be made. Feel free to enlighten me if your opinion differs, I just really don't understand ':\

While I agree with the point you make, AW and aqua, I also think the Admins are right. It's perfectly fine to have a new art thread. If you prefer to post on the older one, do so. If others would like to start anew, they may also do so. I know PP is probably the most active section at this time and more threads can be confusing, but as time goes on the threads worth remembering are never forgotten and the Algorithm keeps the active ones at the top.

I don't see a problem in there being multiple art posting threads, there's literally so much art on the CB that one thread might virtually explode at some point.
