Draw This Your Style!
Soooo, everyone! After some time thinking about it, I've decided to do this fun thread thing called draw this your style. (I saw it on the Internet) It's pretty simple! Somebody's posted a picturing, and then the other person can draw it digitally or traditionally.
So, I've decided to post the first picture! (It's ugly, but eh) I'll post it when this comment is done (don't comment before that!).

I seem to be lacking in colored pencils in the skin-tones-and-browns range. Does anyone have recommendations?

So, I don't normally draw, and I don't consider myself an artist, but I really wanted to join in, because I thought this might be fun to do.
So... here's my result:
I didn't have light brown, so I kind of had to make do with the colors I had, and I know that I did the drawing on lined paper, but that's what I had at the moment.... so her hair is more orange/red mixed with blonde and grey/brown. :)
I also added something to her necklace, and I really like the result. :)

It's judging day! Everyone's entries were amazing, this was insanely difficult to judge.
HONORABLE MENTION: Chickadee, I like the perspective of the pose and how you added the cape!
HONORABLE MENTION: Kitten, I like the highlights on the hair and the way all the lines are so clean!
HONORABLE MENTION: Lupine, your style is so pretty! I love the way you colored it, what medium did you use?
HONORABLE MENTION: Joan, I like the pose, and the hair color looks cool! The necklace element looks nice too.
HONORABLE MENTION: Spellbound, I really like the way you drew the hair, and the shading looks great!
THIRD PLACE: DoodleGirl! The hair is so pretty, and I love the way you draw faces.
SECOND PLACE: Aqua! Your style is amazing, and the sword looks so cool. Her face and pose are awesome!
FIRST PLACE: Fidelity! Your drawing is so elegant (I think that's the word I'm looking for), and I love the hands, sword, hair, everything!
Great job everyone, and Fidelity, I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Oh my goodness! Thank you Quill! Everyone else had such amazing drawings.
I knew what drawing I wanted to use, but the problem is that I can't find it because I did it on a piece of printer paper and the only photo I can find of it is this:
So now looking back to find the thread where I posted it. *cringes audibly*
