my words come
Chatterbox: Pudding's Place
my words come
my words come out like an avalanche in silence
and you've got oceans trapped in your eyelids

They tell me that no man is an island
But it feels like it's a storm I've been fighting

Could someone explain to me what this is? It sounds cool.

Yeah! A lyric thread is when someone posts the first few lines of a song, then others continue it with the next line or two or four, and so on. It's really fun, when most people know the song. Just kinda a way for people to sing for no apparent reason. I remember a while back someone made one for "Don't Stop Believin'" and it was a hit! Sometimes I randomly make one just because it's the song I'm feeling at the time, but most times no one else knows it, so... yeah. But they're really fun!
Here's the link to that one:(wow this was 2 years ago! And all the awesome past CBers on it too...) http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/downtoearth/node/359866

It has also been done with poetry, as with this one:

Elli says chhat, so I assume she's lonely, cold, or was trying to say "Chatterbox"

And I used to listen to the radio
But I've got an army of voices in my head

Voices in my head
We used to live in stereo
But I've got an army of voices in my head
Voices in my head
