Who else is currently completely obsessed with musicals? Rn I'm listening to Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen soundtracks almost 24-7 (not really), how about y'all?

back to the Pudding's Place

I LOVE MUSICALS!!!! (too many to name here xD). Yesterday, I saw Matilda the Musical at a high school in the town next to mine. It was awesome! I'm also currently doing tech in A Christmas Carol (which opens in two weeks). 

Is anyone else in a show right now?

I'm in a show right now! It's tech for our production of Cinderella, and we open on Thursday. It's cool you guys are doing Christmas Carol- my school did that two years ago (in fact, I'm wearing my Christmas Carol shirt right now!).

I wouldn't say I'm completely obsessed, but I definitely like them a lot! Dear Evan Hansen is one of my favorites. I really should listen to it more often. The songs are great.

I wish, elementgirl. I've never been in anything except awful skits that my family did when I was ten, and slightly less awful skits at 4-H camp.

Oh my gosh, yes!! I wish I could see more of them, the only Broadway musical I've seen is Hamilton- which was absolutely amazing!! I've listened to Le Miz and DEH, and snippets of Heathers and Mean Girls. My familly has discussed seeing more musicals before, Le Miz, DEH and Wicked being our top picks. ^^

Oh, yes, Wicked is amazing! I'm kind of tired of it tho, bc my siblings love to listen to the soundtrack ALL THE TIME.

I am ALWAYS obsessed with musicals!!! My current faves are Wicked, Hamilton, Hadestown, and Newsies! <3 

In my humanities class we were discussing the meaning of George Orwell's "1984" and the teacher said "Maybe it means that the power will always stay in the same hands unless the people rise up..." and one kid start going "Rise up! If you're livin' on your knees you rise up! Tell your brother that he's gotta rise up! Tell your sister that she's gotta rise up!" and me and a couple of other kids joined in. It was awesome. It took the teacher a little while to regain our attention. :D
