it's cold in winter
(headphones screaming Imagine Dragons trying to drown out her thoughts)
the wind blows trying to break through your coat and freeze you up
(she used to beg her mom to help her make posts on that corner of the internet that was safe under the blue dome)
snow blows into your eyes and you can't see and you have to trust that you know where you're going
(she doesn't trust anyone, especially not since that blue dome shattered and it wasn't safe anymore)
it feels like neptune or enceladus and you feel like you're gonna get sucked into the vacuum of space
(she's not naiive anymore and now she wears black hoodies with the hood up and plays angsty music and wears her hair over her eyes)
when it's this cold you gotta get to somewhere warm
(she can't bear to leave that blue dome though and so she just pretends she's someone else-- she doesn't even like that old name anyway or the person who went with it)
and there's always someplace you can go
(she lingers on the name box and then types it in)
it doesn't have to be cold in winter

I was going to introduce myself, cause I never actually MET you, (as agent winter) but I guess I don't need to. I just-I-I-WHAT IS HAPPENING I THINK MY MIND JUST EXPLODED. I want to takle hug you for no particular reason, it just feels right to me. May I ask, what name will you go by? I don't really care what you choose, but I'm so used to calling you Fleet. Wow. That was unexpected. I actually always thought you and Fleet had verrry similar art styles, it was actually kind of freaking me out, but I never even considered that you were the same person. Though looking back I see all the other similarities and I feel a bit stupid for not realizing it sooner. XP

You know, that reminds me--I actually knew you before you changed to Fleet. When I was new and only stayed on Kyngdom, I remember nervously looking at the Inkwell and stuff and reading stuff you'd written. (Now that I say that, it seems really stalker-like.) And then I'd joined the rest of the CB and there was Fleet and remember wondering what in the world had happened to Agent Winter. I guess I know, now! I'd introduce myself for the sake of it but that would probably be a waste of time.
