Art Contest.

Hi guys. I thought it would be nice to have an art contest on the CB, just to, I don't know, get it flowing. The CB seems to be really slow lately.

I also thought it would be really nice if we did an art contest same time next year? Assuming that this one goes well.

Here's how it works:

There are 3 divisions: Digital, Simple (ink/graphite/charcoal etc), and Color (basically anything 2D with color). You can submit up to two pieces of art, and they have to be in two different divisions.

I will be judging the Simple Category. The first two people to volunteer can be the other judges.

Rules about Judges: If you want to talk with the other judges about your decision you can but you don't have to. You are judging your divison alone. If you want to make a seperate judges thread that's ok too.

You can't submit art in the category you're judging. But you can submit art. And you can announce the results, or say "no more submissions starting now!" whenever you think is a good time.

Um, ok! That's about it. The due date is, I don't know, November 30, but if everyone turns in their stuff before then we can do the judging before. There will be first and second place for each division and we judges can give feedback if you want it. When you are giving your art please be sure to say the medium and if it has a title what it is.

The prompt - which you don't have to use, but please try - is "beginnings."
