Alright ya'll, this thread has been re-created and died many times, but i'm revising it and bringing it back because of something VERY exciting happening to me...
I'm doing an audition for Frozen Jr.!
I'm REALLY excited for it, and have been practicing ever since my mom told me! I'm going to try out for Anna, and I'm singing "First Time in Forever"! I think where I am right now is okay-
You created two OCs last night while practicing just to complain about how bad you were.
True, true. But I still think I did very well-
With the exception of the "Romance" part, where it just sounds wrong!
Yeah. Hate that.
Anyway, here's why I revived this thread: Before, it was simply a thread just to share funny stories and mishaps, and also what roles you got. However, I think we could do better. This Theatre thread should not only be a place to share funny stories and roles, but I think it would also be a great place to share performance tips, and help out other CBer's problems!
For instance: don't just do warn-ups just when you are about to perform. Doing them daily can help your voice a lot!
What are ya'll waiting for? Get to helping each other!

So, on the subject of mishaps, my family went to see Hamilton last summer. It was great and the acting was incredible, but during “Burn” one of the letters caught on fire too much and the actress playing Eliza had to blow it out in the middle of the song.
I think she means talk about your own theater experiences. *rolls eyes* *completely fails to notice Andrea and Zeke*
Okay. Thank you, Spring. I was getting to that. One time I just... forgot to come onstage. All the other people just waited for me, cause I needed to start the scene. I was pretty embarrassed, though!

I once saw one of my school's musicals. They were doing The Addams Family, and while the chalice was being passed around, someone slammed it down on the table too hard and it broke! IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SHOW!

I hope you have a lot of fun doing Frozen, and that you get Anna! That sounds really fun!
Right now, I'm in a play called Into the Forest, which is basically Goldilock's and Little Red Riding Hood's stories mixing together, with a few other characters. I'm a vegeterian wolf... and I really like my role! I just feel like sometimes I talk too fast. Theater is awesome!
