Hey guys! Sooooo, I've been SO bored lately and I thought it would be a good idea to host a party at my house! Fleet has an art class this coming week so she'll be out of the house for most of the day, and Enigma's out of the house most of the time, so I think my house would be a great place to host a party. You can join the party whenever you want to, even after the party starts. The more the merrier!! Oh, and feel free to bring snacks/drinks. You can post what you're bringing in the other section!

Appearance (please include party outfit): I have short spiky hair dyed hot pink, and violet eyes. I'm usually wearing an oversized blue sweater with a white ghost face on it and torn black shorts, but for the purposes of this, I'll be wearing a hot pink cropped tank top, a black pleated skirt, and tall black leather boots.

Other: Since I'm hosting the party, I'm making mini tacos and bringing soda and chips.

Dewy~
I nod, and xe and I begin to walk towards the door, our knees, no doubt, trembling.I glance at Sea Glass- xe seems to be considering something. I turn away quickly, not wanting xyr to see me watching xyr. I only remember the slice of cake I had that started this whole interaction once we get to the door- left on the table, hardly touched. It matters not.
As we step outside, xe seems to decide on something, and a look of sudden insparation crosses xyr face. "Apologies, but I don't believe I caught your name." Xe says it casually, with an edge of hesitation.
"Oh!" I say- it hadn't occured to me that xe wouldn't know my name, though it was rude to assume xe did. We have never much crossed paths prior to today, after all- xe would only know me as a face in the crowd, and from the introduction thread Luna made over a year ago- and I have changed much since then. "My- my name is Dewdrop, though I go by- by Dewy."
Then, feeling as though it might start a much needed conversation, I add, "Though, Soren- er, Luna and I hae been considering changing it to- to Song. We feel it suits me better."
~Yup! I've been considering different names for Dewy, as well as different pronouns. It seems like I alter my AEs like every 3 months... o.o
Ack, I thought that's how Sea Glass's pronouns are used, I tried to substitute she/he and him/her, but sometimes it just didn't... sound right? XP Thanks for the reminder, I was in need of it.

The moment is innocuous. Crossing the threshold, I turn and deliver my chosen line perfectly.
"Apologies, but I don't believe I caught your name."
She responds with surprise and stammering courtesy, her words coming with relative ease and opening the way to many thoughts and phrases.
"Oh! My--my name is Dewdrop, though I go by--by Dewy. Though, Soren--er, Luna and I have been considering changing it to--to Song. We feel it suits me better."
I reply almost reflexively with a compliment. "What a lovely name! Dewdrop is--is beautiful a-also, but names may change as AEs do. All the better that they should match personality."
I pause, thinking of what this means to her. "Sh-should I call you Song, then?"
~Xe's not going to know about the pronouns unless xe's told in this interaction, I think. Time is weird, especially with situations like these...

I open my mouth to thank xyr, but before I can, xe asks tenatively, "Sh-should I call you Song, then?"
"O-oh!" I say, not truly intending the suprised note to leave my mouth. "Y-yes, I... I would like that."
I smile, and, amazingly, it isn't forced. I feel its gladness inside of me, for reasons unexplained. But I'm not complaining- I'll take all the joy I can, and share it with the world. But that's a big job- perhaps I can begin with Sea Glass.
~Hmm, true. I guess we could pretend it's still taking place when they first began the conversation.
Ooh, palindromes. Palindromes are fun.
