in addition, why do they call this a ski lodge? no skis, no lodge, like is this a genre? what other rules do ski lodges have? I'm so confused and currently questioning whether I still want to be in this...
On Chatterbox, a "ski lodge" is a mystery story in which participants have been invited to some location. The first one was set in a ski lodge. The mystery usually involves suspicious deaths and trying to figure out which participant is the killer. In the past, anyone interested has created a character, then the originator of the thread writes the story. If I remember right, the first author put all the characters' names in a sugar bowl and pulled them out one at a time to determine who would be the next to die. The last one left was the murderer. The stories are often funny, not horrible at all. I view them in many ways like an Agatha Cristie mystery. Subsequent stories have been set in other locations, but the term "ski lodge" has remained.

General appearence: A simplified ninja with a hooded cape and the white Outcast Rune on my chest. The Outcast Rune is two swords crossed behind a pair of wings.

Ah, yes. Sorry, that one's my fault. A Mysterious Figure is my little brother, Roy. I made the sheet, he posted it. We decided it would be best to post it as a human figure, mainly because we didn't know how the people would react. Therefore, I am taking over this thread now since Roy is a bit irresponsible, soooooo yeah. My apologies for the confusion. However, I must admit: This is no ordinary - What do you call it? - ski lodge? M'yez, this is no ordinary ski lodge.

Back in the dining room, CBers and CAPTCHAs began filling seats and making smalll talk. Agent Winter and Rogue Wildling were already seated. Leafpool's eyebrows raised.
"Oh, hey guys! When did you get here?" Rogue looked up.
"Recently. Our hydras were a bit late in taking our sheets." She replied. Leafpool nodded and sat down. Soon everybody was seated. Servants (baby krakens, they're very intelligent for not yet three months old) flowed out from double-doors and set silver plates, full of piping-hot roast beast (for some the plates were spiced cram so that it wouldn't taste as awful), in front of each guest. Leafpool noticed that two seats was empty. Halfway through her meal, she couldn't stand it anymore. Knwoing the most likely answer, she gingerly asked, "Hey guys? Where're Soren and Gracia?"
