Chatterbox: Pudding's Place
On the thirteenth day of the thirteenth month, thirteen letters were sent to thirteen people. They were written directly from somewhere . . . unknown. Why? Well, the question should rather be ‘Why not?’
The letter contained the following.
To whom it may concern,
You have been selected to come to the Golden Harbor palace. You may bring any companions you may have (Alter Egos, CAPTCHAs, pets, etc.). You luggage must fit in a single backpack (provided). Weapons are allowed, so are magically minimized items.
If you would like to come to the Golden Harbor palace, go to the golden cruise liner at Golden Harbor, on the thirteenth day of the first month. Anything you leave behind will not be transported. Weapons are provided upon request. So is popcorn.
No need to pay - it’s free. That’s why so many people want this letter. Take care of it. If you don’t have it, you’ll be left behind on the journey . . . potentially floating face-down in the water.
Happy travels. Fill out the form below if you would like to join. If you don’t, you’ll appear floating face-down anyway.

The receiver of this strange letter flipped it over, and amazingly, a backpack appeared in front of them. It was golden, with opaque white embroidery in swirling patterns. Also, on the other side, there was the aforementioned form.

Weapons: I am a weapon. I do jiu-jitsu and tae-kwon-do, and I have snow powers.
Phobias: Claustrophobia, fear of heights

Luggage: Her phone, a box of snack bars, a water bottle, a random assortment of Harry Potter books, and a pocket knife (which is concealed in her sneakers)
Weapons: Her pocket knife. She can also "talk" in people's heads and give them visions, hence her name.
Phobias: Someone using her as a weapon because of her powers. She's also kind of scared of starting conversations.

Note: I just realized that a tae-kwon-do uniform is called a dobok, not a gi. Sorry, I'm used to jiu-jitsu (where uniforms are called gis)

Luggage: Books, my laptop, soundtracks to about 30 musicals, more books, clothes only because I need them, more books, etc.
Weapons: Um... I won't bring any because they are provided at the venue. But I prefer a bow and arrows to other weapons.
Phobias: I. HATE. SQUIRRELS. Don't judge me XD. I wouldn't say i'm technically afraid of them, but you can put that in the story because I don't have any other phobias.

Luggage: Clothes (mostly leggings and dresses), a notebook, a dozen writing supplies, and a cell phone with sketchy service.
Weapons: I am not a very strong person, so modern range weapons (a variety would be nice but not necessary) and some mace (not the medieval knight kind). I will NOT attack unless it's the only option, and even then I'd probably aim for something nonfatal. I know it's a bad idea, but hey, I'm a wimp.
Phobias: I don't have phobias, but if it's a necessary requirement then you can upgrade my distate for needles (and needle-like objects) and heights to aichmophobia and achrophobia.
Name: Wendy
Luggage: Two books: Practice of Psychotherapy by C. J. Jung and Wit and Its Relation to the Unconscious by Sigmund Freud. She has a magical need to never change her dress, so that's all there is.
Weapons: She's nonconfrontational, so any form of poison would suit her well.
Phobias: None, but feel free to give her some if it's necessary.
Name: Caspian Byron, goes by Caspian
Luggage: Nice clothes and a pair of dress shoes.
Weapons: He'd probably go for a good old-fashioned sword or two.
Phobias: Again, none. He's gets anxious when he's ignored, but I don't think it could escalate to autophobia. But if it's necessary iophobia sound fun.
If the limit is one companion, you can pick! I can't wait!

Name: Captain Xanara, goes casually by Cap.
Companions: None.
Luggage: The usual, plus her weapons.
Weapons: Many different types of guns, plus swords, axes, bows and arrows, shields, and mini canons. Her Valyan strength permits her to carry all these. (To anyone else, don't even try to pick up my weapon's case. You'll give yourself numerous severe injuries linked to holding extremely heavy objects.)
Phobias: None, she's too disensitized to be afraid. If something threatens her she attacks and potentially kills it unless it is rendered harmless before she kills it.

Phobias: Uhhhhh, Acrophobia(fear of heights)? I have wings but I dislike heights when I don't have them. Blood makes me very queasy and I am scared of accidentaly turning my friends to dust or stone(I wear gloves because whoever I touch with my bare hands either turns to stone or desintagrates)
