So many of you CBers are talented musicians...so why not compose a song? Have we ever tried something like this before? Do you think we can? I know we can!

So here is what I was thinking: We would write words to a song, and then put it to music. I've never written a song before so I have no clue how this will work...but it's worth a try, isn't it? I suppose we would make an arrangement of chords and then put the words to them...? Does that make sense?

I think it’s a good idea! I’m actually very interested in songwriting and have written a few things for my band, Lunar Eclipse. (It’s a rather crappy band, but I enjoy it). The first thing I would do would be to mess around on piano or guitar for a while and come up with a rudimentary plan, then maybe call my friend Dora over to sing some stuff. The fact that this is on CB makes it hard to use that strategy, though. Why don’t we come up with a key and a meter to start out?
